Our trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar was extremely well paced, and every single day could have been enough to bring back enough memories for a whole year! Lendimi greatly helped customize and optimize our stay and discovery of Tanzania and Zanzibar. We felt part of the family. And because they are truly locals, they had amazing local guides for each and every corner or tribe we visited. We felt like in a movie. Watching wildlife in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro or Taranguire national parks just at the right distance without interfering while being close enough, we felt very privileged. Horse riding among wildebeests, zebras and antilopes also felt amazing, just like a hike on the Kilimanjaro for a day trip and since kids under 10 cannot climb it all. Visiting 3 nomadic tribes rarely visited, and hopefully not "before they disappear", whilst respecting their lifestyle, has been a true highlight of our visit in Tanzania. On top of it we visited locals in the hills surrounding Arusha, amongst banana plantation and a rainforest climate, which we also found hiking towards a waterfall...walking in the water just helped feel a great connection with the rainforest. Meeting locals, sharing their life's perspective, their meal, planting trees so help them contribute to a sustainable agro-forestry environment, helped us feel more like travelers than tourists, not just watching, but participating and truly sharing feelings, which we always value. Lendimi was just perfect for us :-) Asante Sana Lendimi ! as they say Thank you in Swahili.

Lendimi Safari is incredible. From the moment we landed to the drop off at the airport every detail was carefully planned and executed. Emmanuel our guide had an intuitive sense for tracking wildlife. Every drive offered amazing wildlife, basking lions, bathing elephants and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets on the horizon. Emmanuel found the big 5 for us, seeing the rare black rhinos completed the dream list. The sheer scale of nature happening before my eyes Is something I will never forget. The accommodations were 5 star, impeccable staff and great food at every stop. The trip was more than a vacation, it was a connection to nature and experience the warmth of the people of Tanzania. I highly recommend Lendimi African Safari for an unforgettable experience of a lifetime.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hike to Nauru falls. Our local guide provided background information about the native plants and their uses as we hiked. The forest, stream, and falls are all beautiful. The portion of the hike that leads down to the stream is steep but co constructed with steps, so it is manageable. The upstream hike to reach the falls involves several crossings; while it was possible to do the entire walk without getting wet (as a couple people in our group demonstrated), the far easier approach is to wade through the stream, so bring footwear that can get wet. Higher water levels would definitely involve wet feet.

It is hard to find the words to describe the amazing safari adventure that my two friends and I enjoyed for 13 wonderful days in Tanzania. The experience exceeded my expectations in every way, starting with our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Emanuel. He made it his mission to ensure that we had the best time ever & he succeeded. Emi went above and beyond in every way, from positioning us in the best spots for observing wildlife, to dealing with an unforeseen immigration issue. We saw every wild animal that we were hoping to see, and many that I hadn't known existed. Emi was well versed in animal behavior and sighting them from afar, then taking us very close. We saw the spectacular Serengeti from above in a hot air balloon one morning. Our 8 passenger Land Cruiser with an openable lid was our daily vehicle for observing wildlife, including the great migration of wildebeests and zebras. We saw prides of lions, and lions on their honeymoon, leopards in trees, elephants curious enough to put our car's ariel into its mouth and another elephant showing up at our patio. Our accommodations and meals were fabulous & picnicking on the Serengeti was amazing. Emi set up a table & tablecloth, chairs & boxed lunches for us so we could spend the whole day out on safari instead of having to go back to a hotel to eat. In addition to seeing African animals, our trip included cultural days where we were blessed to meet the people of several different tribes & get a glimpse into their lives. I highly recommend Lendimi Safari if you are thinking about making your dream of an African safari come true. It was a once in a lifetime, incredible trip!
