A magical trip to explore the wonders of Peru. It is divided into two parts, first we will do rural community tourism in the Amazon and then we will discover the Peruvian Andes.
PART 1 - COMMUNITY FOCUSED TOURISM
Rural community tourism is an experience in which travellers are integrated sustainably with the rural environment and developed by local citizen organizations for the benefit of the community. This tour focuses on supporting these initiative which not only provide income, but also uplift cultural preservation of indigenous communities. It breaks down barriers to engage underserved communities in meaningful, life-changing ways.
PART 2 - THE PERUVIAN ANDES

This really was a trip of a lifetime and a real privilege to be able to spend 5 days at Turtle Trax volunteering with the amazing people working there. Memories of the turtles and hatchlings will stay with me forever.
We had a really great time in La Fortuna and Monteverde as well and all thanks so our wonderful bus driver Joel and amazing tour guide Yana.
Thank you to all at Alma Travel for making this a once in a lifetime trip!

We had a wonderful time with Alma Travel, the whole experience exceeded all my expectations, Joel our bus driver was brilliant and Jana our tour guide went above and beyond to ensure we had a really amazing time.

I had a great time. Met wonderful people. Kim and Alex went out of their way to make this a truly remarkable adventure.
Yanna and Joelle, the tour guide and driver respectively, made the trip so much fun. The adventures were amazing ie the turtles,
the kids, the projects etc. Costa Rica is a beautiful place. The only thing I didn't like was the no-see ums that seemed to just love attacking me.

Absolutely amazing 🤩
We had the best time and were so lucky with an arribada, turtles nesting & releasing hatchlings during our time at Turtle Trax
We met such lovely people & were so well looked after
Nothing was too much trouble & Kim even arranged all our transport for our relaxing last few days on the Caribbean coast
Truly fabulous guide Janna & our driver Joel was so much fun in addition to being a great driver
Accommodation was so comfortable, we were well fed & looked after
Exploring, zip lining, volunteering just so much to love
If you were thinking to go just do it you will not be disappointed 🤩 the experience of a lifetime ✨️
