Traveling with Shakespeare Agency and MAGA Heritage was a deeply immersive and transformative experience that brought history to life in a way I never expected. Ghana is often known for its vibrant energy, but this journey focused on something even deeper—the connection between tradition, culture, and the reconnection of African Americans to the diaspora. Visiting sites like the Last Bath was a stark and moving reminder of both the pain and resilience woven into our history. The contrast of beauty and destruction in these spaces was powerful, showing how the land itself carries memory. Beyond the history, this trip strengthened a spiritual connection—to the earth, to the ancestors, and to a way of living that feels more natural and grounded. It wasn’t just about learning the past, but about embodying its lessons in the present—standing firm in authenticity, embracing Indigenous roots, and moving through life with openness and curiosity, like a child experiencing the world for the first time. I walked away from this experience not only with knowledge but with a deeper sense of purpose. Ghana’s history and culture serve as a call to remember, to honor, and to live with intention. For anyone seeking a meaningful, life-changing journey, this is it.

This trip was good for the SOUL and full of VIBES!! The motherland is worth experiencing whether it’s your first time or 5th+ country, it calls you back. I enjoyed moving through the agenda in style excited for each new experience. The BEACHES, the City, the Villages, the HISTORY, MOUNTAINS, and People/Culture were SO beautiful! Shout out to Kwame and his MAGA Heritage team! Also, the group was amazing!! As a solo traveller I loved that I felt included as part of the group but respected on my own. I HIGHLY recommend a trip with Shakespeare Agency as she made my Detty December adventure a reality and provided support every step of the way for the group to enjoy an extra special travel experience. Ghana- Let’s Gooo!!!

Shakespeare Agency with local guide, MAGA (Make Africa Great Again) Heritage Tours put together a well planned and  organized trip in  The Ghana Experience: Vybz & Culture. From the moment our flights landed at Kotoka International Airport - Accra,  the welcome  home spirit  of akwaaba was felt. Attention to detail was seen at every turn of the itinerary and very much appreciated,  from having a point perason there to meet us to expedite immigration and customs clearance to transportation and hotel check-in to all the activities,  particularly the batik making and naming ceremony.  I thoroughly enjoyed  this trip.

What an amazing trip. The trip was well organized from the beginning til the end. Lisa and Sam were very engaging and meshed well with the group. Because of their exceptional interpersonal skills, it helped the two of them better understand the group's interest throughout the trip in real-time. They already knew the best places to go in Cape Town, Zimbabwe, and Zambia, but they wanted to make sure we had the most enjoyment ever since it was most of the group's first experience in Africa. Even with the weather being cold, Lisa and Sam still made sure we saw all the must see sights. We definitely plan to do it again. Thanks so much!
