This three-day retreat, for men only, will introduce participants to the ancient art and science of rhetoric in both theory and practice. The retreat is limited to eighteen participants. The focus will be on applying ancient rhetoric in modern professional, business and social activities. There will be some preparatory online instruction during the month prior to the retreat. Dr. Alex Petkas, Dr. Eric Hewett and an assistant teacher will lead the retreat.
The retreat will take place at the Estate at Crystal Creek, a retreat center in the hills west of Austin, Texas. A variety of housing options are available.
Alumni of the retreat will qualify to join The Rostra, an exclusive training circle for on-going practice and improvement in rhetoric.
Travel to Austin and take a taxi or Uber to the Resort at Crystal Creek. If you can arrive by 8 PM, join us for the Welcome Dinner.
