About this trip

Autumn brings a new yet familiar rhythm. The light and nature change, the air cools, and something in us is encouraged to reflect, slow down, and come closer to the ground and the earth to find comfort and rest.

These are the moments when the body knows before the mind does.

These are the moments when it is time to set the house in order.

These are the moments when we stop, listen, and let go.

Autumn is one of those moments.

This two-day workshop takes that seasonal shift as its starting point, and creates a space to meet the transition with awareness and care.

Through somatic movement, breathwork, and guided rest, we work with the body's natural inclination to ground and root itself, to settle, and to find stillness as the year turns inward.

What we will practise

The practices are drawn from somatic movement, mindful yoga and the science of the breath, with gentle grounding techniques, thematic yoga nidra and visual meditation woven throughout.

We will work with the breath as a tool for calm, for sleep, and for finding a steadier place within.

As the season turns, the breath offers something simple and reliable: a way back to the body when the mind has moved too fast, and crucial support in transitioning to a new season, with reassurance, regulation, and readiness for the cold months.

These seasonal tools, together, offer a way to release held tension, find stability, regulate the nervous system, and meet the season's quieter, richer rhythms.

Who is this for

No prior yoga experience is needed. The work is slow, attentive and accessible to anyone willing to pause.

We will move gently through the body, exploring what it means to feel grounded rather than just think about it. And we will rest, properly, with guidance.
