Day 1
Your tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Luang Prabang around 8:30-9:00 AM, then we drive to southeast of Luang Prabang about 30 min and arrive at Ban Huai Pheng Village. Starting from this village where Khmu and Hmong people live together, we will walk 3 km to Nong Kouay village, and in the afternoon we will walk 8-10 km from Nong Kouay village to Long Lao village. Hiking about 12 km on the first day. After arriving at the village, you will tour with your guide to see how the Hmong and Khmu people live together and settle into your homestay. Enjoy a dinner of local food. At night, you will be able to see the beautiful starry sky.
Day2
After breakfast We will leave the homestay house and head to Kuang Si Falls. We enter into jungle forests. Trekking across rice paddies, the orchards, farm land and forest, we will see the beauty scenery of Luang Prabang countryside on the way. As we continue to trekking, we reach the mountainous jungle and find natural springs which are source of Kuang Si Waterfall around 3-4 hours. Then we take a rest to enjoy lunch at waterfall. We explore the three layered Kuang Si waterfall walk the trails of the nature reserve and swim in the refreshing turquoise water pools and also visit the Bear Rescue Center. In the late afternoon we visit Kuang Si Butterfly park to see Laos’ myriad butterflies. From here we drive back to Luang Prabang and send back to your accommodation or city center between 5:30-6:00 PM.

Itinerary
DAY1; 8:20 – 9:00 AM, we start from Manifa Travel’s office or your accommodation and drive 50-minutes to the east side of Luang Prabang. Then we begin hiking and cross the Nam Khan River by boat. We arrive at a village called “Ban Suan Dala” where Hmong and Lao people live together. You’ll have time to explore village with your guide and find their interesting village-lifestyle.
We continue hiking up a hill another 1.5 – 2 hour to a small Hmong village “Ban TinPha” On the top of the hill. On the way, we will enjoy the lush scenery as we head into the hills. Around the noon, we reach the village and enjoy lunch in a Hmong home. (We can also prepare the picnic lunch instead of Hmong family lunch according to your request) During the lunch break, we will take enough time to walk around the village and see their traditional life and culture, and also have the chance to capture breathtaking views of mountains
We continue trekking downhill and cross a long small stream. After 1.5 -2 hour, we arrive at a Khmu village ” Ban Houay Fai ” where we stay overnight. Our guide will introduce you to the villages, prepare dinner. After dinner we enjoy exploring the village or have a drink with the locals if you like. We will have an incredible night in the mountainous village.
