象使い体験半日ツアー 素晴らしかったです。 船でメコン川を遡りエレファントビレッジへ向かうところから風が爽やかで気持ちよく、 象使いの衣装に着替えて、象使いの言葉のレクチャーを受け、象の首に跨りお散歩と水浴びを体験、熱いシャワーで清潔になったら、美味しいブッフェのランチと飲み物で休憩、最後に親子の象と触れ合いながらもう一度レクチャーを受け、帰りは車で餅米焼酎の試飲もしながらルアンパバーンの町まで送ってくれました。 夕方町の中の事務所に象使いのサーティフィケーションか用意されているのを受け取りに行きました。 充実した体験ができました。

The scenery was truly incredible as we cruised down the Nam Ou River. The team was perfect. The driver was excellent on the sometimes challenging roads of Laos. The boat crew took great care of us. The captain and his first mate ensured a smooth and safe cruise. Nouan, our guide, was fantastic throughout our trip, always ready to chat and share information about local life and his beautiful country. I highly recommend this trip, which will remain one of our best memories of Laos.

We had a great experience! The elephants were very gentle and kind. One of them carried us effortlessly through the forest. We also got to feed a baby elephant. He was so cute!

It was a great experience! We booked the half day tour. We were able to feed and stroke the elephants at first, heard a few infos about the work with the elephants and then we rode them. At the end of the ride the elephants are supposed to go into the river and you get wet up to your belly or your chest, but it was no problem to skip this part and ride back to the elephant center. Just tell your guides :) After lunch we were also able to feed and stroke a baby elephant! We also had the impression that the elephants were treated very well and also interesting to know that they are not at all hold captive there but are just taken care of and protected from poachers. Would definitely do it again!
