I travelled with my son on the Everest Base Camp tour (with return by helicopter). The whole tour was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I made contact with Green valley I felt supported and was treated as a real valued client. The whole booking process was seamless. Raj answered all my questions positively and with fantastic knowledge of the tour. Once we were underway the thrills kept coming. Views (oh, the views), food, accommodation and organising was absolutely amazing. Everything was taken care of. We just had to walk and take it all in. Our small group was awesome and we created many wonderful memories. Our guide was called Bishwa. You must ask for him by name, as he was the most wonderful person, both professionally, and personally. His only goal was to make our journey the best possible holiday we could ever have, and he succeeded. His knowledge of mountain life, mountain topography and local history and customs gave us a real affinity for the area. He coached and supported us with enthusiasm and a yearning to do the best for us in all situations. Bishwa is one of Nepal's National Treasures. Don't wait to book this tour. We recently did the Base Camp trek with Green Valley and it was PHENOMENAL!!! Bishwa was our guide and he was amazing. Incredibly thoughtful, helpful and kind. He spoke perfect English and was able to answer all our questions while also joking around with us as friends. We truly left with such a special connection to Everest thanks to him and plan to return to Nepal. Bishwa went above and beyond to make sure we had the best rooms at the teahouses, knew all the best photo spots and always had everything we needed for a safe and fun trek. Bishwa was so reassuring at high altitude as well which we found very comforting. He was very on top of all the communication, especially when flights were re-routed out of Lulka due to weather on our journey back. He was with us every step of the way!! We can’t say enough good things about him!! Our Porter Rewant was really kind and also consistently went above and beyond. He would always come wish us goodnight and good morning 😊 our bags always arrived long before us and we appreciated how kind Rewant was to us during the trek! 5 stars! This was an amazing trip!! The Himalayas were jaw-droppingly beautiful! Can’t recommend this trip enough!!

We had a great time, Green Valley was very flexible with our itinerary, which we did end up modifying several times during the trek. On the organization front, Raj was always very quick to answer our questions and ensure things would run smoothly. Definitely recommend them!

I had a fantastic trip. It was my first trek in Nepal and chose the Langtang Trek as my research said it was a less walked route so would be less crowded, which from speaking to others was true. I also picked it because wasn't going to high but would have great views of some big mountains. Had lovely guide, Phurba and Porter Pinjo. Both friendly and helpful. Phurba was knowledgeable and very good English. Tea houses we stayed in were clean and all offered taste food and warm lounge. I'd definitely recommend this company to friends going to Nepal, they seem to look after there guides and porters which i think says a lot. If I'm lucky enough to go trekking in Nepal again I'll definitely use Green Valley Nepal Treks and ask for Phurba. Thank you for making it a great experience.

Unforgettable experience The Green Valley team are a truly fantastic, incredibly supportive, well established and knowledgeable company who provide the highest level of service across the Himalaya. I was recommended Green Valley Treks through a work colleague and immediately enjoyed reading their great website, its clear and detailed itineraries. Comparing this to other companies made it an easy company to focus on. After contacting Arjun, one of the owners, with my many questions via WhatsApp I knew this was the company for myself. His responses were clear, prompt and answered all of my queries - no matter what time of day! This made the pre - trip planning a smooth process. After arriving to a warm Nepalese welcome with our pre-arranged airport transfer service felt very special and already apart of the Green Valley team. We were then greeted by Arjun in person at our hotel, despite the late hour following our international flight delay, and he assisted us with finalising our porters and essential gear for the trip addressing any last minute questions we may have had. Bishwa Rai, our senior guide for the trip truly made our experience. Representing Green Valley’s values and vision for its clients perfectly throughout our trek with his kind, caring and compassionate nature truly highlighted his passion for the job as well as his desire to connect us on a deeper level with Nepal. Having the opportunity to walk along side him on our journey to EBC was a true privilege. His long-standing experience as a guide also made my journey more enjoyable as he was able to recommend the prime time to take photos and where to find the best local foods. As beautiful as the Khumbu Valley is, the friendship I built with Bishwa was the highlight of my trip. Throughout the journey I felt incredibly well supported by the team and if any logistical planning needed to be completed Bishwa was fantastic at navigating these challenges independently to assist us in a smooth journey, particularly when the weather may play into effect on our flights in/out of Lukla airport.
