Today we journey to the central region where we will visit one of the infamous Transatlantic Slave Castles followed by a city tour of the cape coast. A guide will take us through the castles where our ancestors were kept.

I had the time of my life!!! AfroFuture was everything I wanted and needed!! Food was awesome and the people were always friendly! I’ve already lined up family members to attend in 2026!!

My overall experience was awesome! My initial assumption was I might not have a good time due to the preplanning and all the chatter in the group was overstimulating. When I say trust the process, mute the group for a day as needed, continue packing, bring good shoes and knee braces for the walk through the forest to get to the canopy walk, and a positive attitude, Travel Mo will bring this trip all together. You will not want to go home. Book your trip and have fun. Sleep is not included only naps.

My trip to Ghana was nothing short of incredible, and it was all because of our amazing tour guides, Joe and Mo. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like family. Every detail was thoughtfully planned. Joe is knowledgeable and helped plan out every detail - even when we were running late. They went far beyond what you’d expect from tour guides. Whether it was helping with shopping, navigating local spots, making sure we felt safe, or just checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, they made sure our trip was smooth, meaningful, and unforgettable. I didn’t just leave Ghana with photos - I left with a deeper understanding of the culture, new friendships, and memories I’ll cherish forever.
