Dave Schrader is a long-time radio show host that delves deep into the realms of the strange, fringe, and bizarre in the paranormal field. Dave and co-host Tim Dennis started off with Darkness Radio in 2006, which grew into a widely popular radio show. He became a regular fill-in host for George Noory on Coast-to-Coast AM that is heard worldwide with millions of listeners.

Dave now hosts Midnight In The Desert, formally hosted by the radio legend Art Bell on Dark Matter Digital Network along with Darkness Radio Presents: BEYOND the DARKNESS on PodcastOne and True Crime Tuesday on Patreon.

Dave co-wrote the book The Other Side: A Teen's Guide to Ghost Hunting and the Paranormal, was the lead judge on the Travel Channel hit mini-series Paranormal Challenge and has appeared onscreen on Travel Channel's #1 series, Ghost Adventures numerous times, Paranormal State on A&E and Haunted Hospitals.

Originally from Illinois, Dave has been a resident of Minnesota since 1988 when he attended Winona State College and fell in love with the beauty and people of this great state. With the growing interest in the world of the unknown on TV, film, and literature building each day, Dave decided to bring his unique views and experiences to the radio as the host of Darkness Radio.  

Mr. Schrader also worked behind the scenes on Ghost Adventures for 3 years as a location scout and researcher. Beginning in October 2019 he was featured cast member of a new paranormal reality series on Travel Channel.

David took his career to the next level when he made an appearance in the TV show, The Holzer Files. The series features a paranormal team that reopens the case files of America’s first ghost hunter, Dr. Hans Holzer. Dave Schrader and Mysterious Adventures Tours Representatives will greet and meet you at the Dublin Airport in the morning. From here, we will take a short trip to the notoriously spectral Malahide Castle, where you may meet the phantom of the castle’s jester, Puck!  For recovery, we will then go on a pub crawl through some of the most haunted taverns in Dublin, including Brazen Head and John Mulligans. We will rest tonight at the 44 on Main Street Hotel in Dublin.

In the morning take a stunning trip to one of the most haunted majestic properties in Ireland, the 18th century Charleville Castle, where we will indulge in a full paranormal investigation with Dave Spinks! A night to remember, returning late to our rooms at the Tullamore Court Hotel.

We will let you sleep in a bit, but we will head out late morning to another magnificent stronghold, the 12th Century Kilkenny Castle, a known medieval hotbed for paranormal activity! Will we see Lady Eleanor Butler’s phantom? Later, we will take a breath-taking ride to the Rock of Cashel’s dating back to the 5th Century, where St Patrick’s started his pilgrimage in Ireland. Tonight we will stay in Clonmel.

Rest this morning, or perhaps take a short stroll through beautiful and ancient Clonmel. Brace yourself for an experience of a lifetime, after a short journey into Cork. Tonight we do an overnight investigation of Spike Island Prison, Ireland’s Alcatraz! Tonight we’ll sleep with the imprisoned spirits!

Rise and shine, for we will take a ride over to tour the incredible ruins of the 13th century Desmond Castle. Within steps, will you dare to explore the remains of one of Ireland’s dreaded Hell Fire Club? Afterward, we’ll take in the Charles Fort where you see the “Lady in White”. Tonight we will try to rest when we sleep at the haunted Maldron Hotel, where a poltergeist still remains from its infirmary days.
