During this incredible adventure in the mountains of Colombia, we will have the opportunity to see plenty of Hummingbirds, Tanagers, Antpittas, and Tapaculos. During this short, easy trip it will be possible to encounter more than 300 species of birds, including the most iconic endemic ones in breathtaking colorful landscapes such as the Bicolored Antpitta, Brown-banded Antpitta, Brown-breasted Parakeet, Buffy Helmetcrest, Cauca Guan, Chestnut Wood-Quail, Crested Ant-Tanager, Greyish Piculet, Multicolored Tanager, Parker´s Antbird, Rufous-fronted Parakeet, Silvery-throated Spinetail, Stile´s Tapaculo, Tolima Blossomcrown, Tolima Dove and Yellow-headed Brush-Finch. We will bird parts of the El Nevado del Ruiz volcano above 4000 MSL, visit the principal coffee region of Colombia, a World Heritage Site (UNESCO) and taste the best coffee in the world, and get a real chance to witness a show with the highly difficult to see Antpittas in Rio Blanco.
