A walk along one of the ravines of the volcano will be our firs activity, this short excursion takes about 45 minutes. Plants as the mortiño, achupallas, romerillo are all along the path taking us into the mountain ecosystem while we adapt our body to the altitude and enjoy of the landscape with the imposing volcano in front of us.

The Limpiopungo lagoon will be our next stop, this lagoon has a glacial origin and is located in between the Cotopaxi and Rumuñahui Volcanoes, an easy trail will guide us around the lagoon for a fantastic walk while we enjoy of some fresh water birds, plants as the "Chuquirahua", and wild horses.

Lunch will be served into the park.

After the activities, we´ll return to your hotel in Quito

We had a wonderful day with a private tour of Quito. Our guide, Gaby, was fantastic- accommodating what we wanted to see and moving easily with our pace and interests. She was knowledgeable and made the day fun for our teenage children as well as the parents. What was most outstanding was that the team, Gaby and Danielle, were able to arrange the day with one of our party needing to go to the airport to get a flight back to the US. The day was organized to give him some of the tour experience before he headed to the airport. We highly recommend this trip and thank them for a wonderful and educational day.

Gustavo was very nice and helpful. He definitely knows the historical details about Quito and the overall Mitad del Mundo trip. My fiancee and I enjoyed ourselves and we will definitely come back to Quito and reach out to him to do some of the other tours the company has.
