We start our adventure in the morning, driving through the stunning Andes. Keep an eye out for the snow-capped Cayambe Volcano—it’s the only one sitting right on the equator! Speaking of Cayambe, we’ll stop to taste its famous bizcochos, buttery biscuits best enjoyed with cheese and dulce de leche (warning: they’re addictive!).

Next, we dive into the colorful Otavalo market, where friendly artisans sell beautiful handwoven textiles, jewelry, and more. After some shopping, we’ll head to Claudia’s house for a special home-cooked lunch. She’ll welcome us like family, sharing her secret recipes and a warm Andean meal straight from the heart.
