About your trip

Discover the best of Peru on a unique journey through four of its most iconic regions. The adventure begins in Lima, touring its historic center by panoramic bus, visiting the Ballestas Islands, the Huacachina oasis with sandboarding, and flying over the enigmatic Nazca Lines.


The tour continues to Arequipa to see the imposing Colca Canyon and watch the flight of the Andean condor, followed by Puno, where you will explore the Chullpas of Sillustani and the islands of Lake Titicaca.


Then you will arrive in Cusco to discover the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Maras, and Moray, as well as natural wonders such as Humantay Lake and the Mountain of Colors. The experience ends with a visit to the Inca bridge of Qeswachaka and the archaeological site of Waqrapukara, concluding the trip at the Cusco airport.

DAY 1

DAY 1 image

Airport pickup - Lima city tour

  • We will begin with airport reception and transfer to your hotel.

  • We will begin the city tour at 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m., exploring downtown Lima and admiring the colonial buildings with more than 500 years of history.

  • We will conclude the tour around 6:00 p.m. and you will spend the night in Lima.

DAY 2

Ballestas Islands - Huacachina Oasis

  • We will depart very early, at 3:30 a.m., from Lima to Paracas by bus. Once in Paracas, we will head to the pier to embark on a boat trip around the Ballestas Islands, where we will be able to see the famous Candelabra, as well as seabirds, sea lions, and Humboldt penguins for approximately 2 hours.

  • After the tour, we will head to Chaco Boulevard to explore local crafts before being transferred to the bus station to continue our journey to Ica.

  • Upon arrival in Ica, we will be met at the bus station and transferred to Huacachina Lagoon, a natural oasis in the middle of the desert surrounded by palm trees. Here we will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and participate in activities such as sandboarding and dune buggy rides.

  • We will end our excursion at 4:40 p.m. and spend the night in a hotel in the Huacachina Oasis or Ica.

DAY 3

Nazca Flight

  • We will pick you up from your hotel in Ica or Huacachina, travel to Nazca, pick you up from the bus terminal, and then transfer you to the airfield.

  • During the flight over the Nazca Lines (approximately 30 minutes), we will see 10 of the main geoglyphs.

  • After the experience, at 2:30 p.m., you will board a bus to the city of Arequipa (10-hour trip).

DAY 4

Arequipa City tour

  • Continuing the tour, we will pick you up at the terminal and transfer you to the hotel of your choice. You will have the morning free to rest.

  • In the afternoon, the city tour will begin. You will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, Arequipa Cathedral, Cloisters and Church of the Society of Jesus, San Francisco Complex, and the Carmen Alto and Yanahuara viewpoints.

  • Return to the city at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Colca Canyon

  • We begin with pick-up from your hotel at 8:30 a.m.

  • Visit to the Vicuñas National Reserve located in Pampa Cañahuas, view of the snow-capped Chucura mountain, followed by the Toqra lagoons and then the Patapampa Andes.

Flight of the Condors

  • Today we will leave early after breakfast and be transferred to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint.

  • From here you can watch the spectacular flight of the world's largest bird, the condor.

  • You can also admire the depth of the Colca Canyon. Afterwards, you will walk for one hour with a guide towards Chivay, passing through interesting villages.

  • Once in Chivay, you will enjoy a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, we will return to the city of Arequipa, and in the evening, you will be transferred to the bus terminal to board the bus to Puno.

Tombs of Sillustani

  • This day begins with pick-up from the hotel and transfer to the Sillustani Archaeological Complex.

  • We will walk for approximately 40 minutes to see the different chullpas or burial towers of pre-Inca and Inca cultures.

  • In the area, we will also see the beautiful Umayo lagoon and finally return to the city of Puno.

Uros Island and Amantani Island

  • Arrival in Puno at 5:00 a.m., you will be transported to a café for breakfast and, if you wish, to take a shower.

  • Then, at approximately 7:30 a.m., we will begin the excursion. You will be transported to the port to board the boat.

  • You will visit the beautiful island of Uros, learn about their customs, and see their beautiful weavings. Then we will continue to Amantani Island, where we will enjoy a delicious local lunch.

  • We will continue our tour of Amantani Island and spend the night in a family home.

DAY 9

Taquile Island

  • We will start the day with a traditional breakfast prepared by the host family. Then we will say goodbye and continue our journey by boat to the island of Taquile. During the trip, we will be able to enjoy the beautiful landscapes surrounding Lake Titicaca.

  • Once on the natural island of Taquile, we will walk to the top of the island, where we will have the opportunity to explore the village's craft markets and observe the different chullos (hats) made by the men of the island.

  • Before leaving the island, we will enjoy a lunch featuring one of the typical dishes of the area, while contemplating a spectacular view of Lake Titicaca.

    After descending the 538 stone steps, we will head to the pier to take our boat back to the city of Puno.

  • In the evening, we will transfer to the bus terminal to board the trip to Cusco.

  • The journey will be made by sleeper bus and will last all night.

DAY 10

Route of Sun

  • After a hearty breakfast, transportation will pick you up and take you to the bus station, where you will depart for Cusco.

  • There will be several stops along the way, such as the Pukara Lithic Museum. We will pass through La Raya and then have lunch in Pascana.

  • Next, we will visit the Raqchi Archaeological Park, where you will see the beautiful Sistine Chapel of America. Finally, we will arrive in the city of Cusco at 5:30 p.m.

Cusco City tour

  • In the afternoon, we will begin our city tour, picking up at 2:00 p.m. at the meeting point in Cusco's Main Square, specifically at the cathedral door.

  • During the tour, we will visit Q'oricanca, an ancient temple dedicated to the sun.

  • Then, we will head outside the city to explore Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and conclude with Tambomachay.

  • The tour will end around 6:00 p.m., near the Plaza de Armas.

DAY 12

Sacred Valley connection

  • After breakfast, we will begin the tour with a pick-up at your hotel at 8 a.m. to head to the archaeological site and traditional market of Pisaq, where we will enjoy a guided tour lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes.

  • Afterwards, we will continue our journey along the Vilcanota River until we reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch with typical Andean dishes.

  • In the afternoon, we will visit the Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, where we will have a guided tour lasting 1 hour and 20 minutes. After exploring Ollantaytambo, you will have the opportunity to stroll through the picturesque streets of the town until we reach the train station, where we will board our train to Aguas Calientes.

  • Once at the Aguas Calientes train station, the hotel host will be waiting to welcome us.

DAY 13

Machu picchu

  • The day will begin early with a pick-up from your hotel to take you to the bus station, where we will board the first bus to ensure we are the first to enter the citadel of Machu Picchu. Once in Machu Picchu, we will enjoy a 2.5-hour guided tour, during which detailed information about the site will be provided.

  • After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu on your own. Then, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants available.

  • In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo from Aguas Calientes. Remember to be at the train station 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Once at the train station in Ollantaytambo, a representative will be waiting to transfer us to the hotel in Cusco. The drive will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Maras and Moray salt mines

  • At 8:30 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel with our vehicle (near or within the historic center) and travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

  • Before arriving at the agricultural terraces of Moray, we will make a short stop in Chinchero to appreciate the beautiful textile work of this town.

  • We will have a guided tour in Moray and then visit the Maras Salt Mines, where we will admire more than 1,000 natural salt wells from the viewpoint.

  • The tour will end at approximately 3:00 p.m.

DAY 15

Humantay Lake

  • At 4:00 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel with our vehicle (near or within the historic center) and head to the picturesque village of Mollepata, where we will enjoy breakfast. From there, we will continue our journey to Soraypampa, where we will begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Humantay Lake, located at an altitude of 4,250 meters above sea level. During the hike, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the fauna and flora of the area.

  • After visiting the lake, we will descend to Soraypampa and take our vehicle back to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. Then, we will begin the return trip to the city of Cusco, where we will arrive at approximately 6:00 p.m.

DAY 16

Rainbow Mountain

  • At 4:30 a.m., we will pick you up at your respective hotel (near or within the historic center) to begin our exciting adventure. We will drive for 2.5 hours in our vehicle through the South Valley until we reach the village of Tintinco, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then, we will continue our journey to the start of the trail known as Quesyuno (at an altitude of 4,326 m / 14,189 ft), where you will receive the final details before beginning a hike of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours with a moderate climb.

  • Around 10:30 a.m., we will arrive at our destination, Vinicunca, also known as Rainbow Mountain (at an altitude of 5,020 m / 16,466 ft). Here you will have enough time to enjoy this unique landscape offered by the geography.

  • After our visit to the mountain of colors, we will return to the starting point, where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to the village of Tintinco. There we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and then, after a short rest, we will begin the return trip to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00–5:30 p.m.

Inca Bridge Qeswachaka

  • At 4:30 a.m., we will pick you up at your respective hotel (near or within the historic center) to begin our exciting adventure. We will drive for 2 hours south.

  • On our tour, we will make a quick visit to the four lagoons and the Pabellones Volcano.

  • We will arrive at the impressive Inca bridge, made of plant fiber and located over the Apurimac River, where you will have the opportunity to cross the bridge from both sides.

  • After our guided tour, we will return to the city of Cusco, but not before stopping to see the colonial Inca bridge of Checacupe.

  • Arrival time in Cusco is approximately 5:30 p.m.

DAY 18

Waqrapukara

  • To begin, we will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 4:00 a.m. and head south. During this trip, we will appreciate the Pomacanchi lagoon, where we will make a stop.

  • Continuing with the tour, we will arrive at Sangarara, where we will have breakfast, and then continue on to the community of Rinconada, where we will begin the hike to Waqrapukara.

  • During this hike, we will be able to appreciate the flora and fauna typical of the area until we reach the archaeological site of Waqrapukara, where we will visit the following places: Intipunku (Gate of the Sun), main square, towers, terraces, Wiracocha enclosure, and cave paintings depicting llamas.

  • After visiting Waqrapukara, we will begin our return to Sangarara, where we will have lunch and then travel back to Cusco.

  • Arrival time is approximately 6:30 p.m.

  • Depending on your flight schedule or bus departure time, our transportation will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the airport or bus terminal.
