Greeting and meeting at the Airport by our staff. 

You will see a sign with your name right after migration. They will let you know where your luggage will be and how to exit the airport. Right outside the airport door your guide will have another sign. We will implement all safe protocols.

Private guided transfer from the airport to the town of Escazu.

Accommodation at a 150 years old house property of the Sheehy family. This house was built by the grandfather who had a big coffee farm all around it.

The house is now a Spiritual Retreat. This first afternoon you will be part of a local food cooking lesson which you will all enjoy for dinner.

Breakfast included at Casa de Piedra.

Your private van with guide/driver will take you from Casa de Piedra to El Cairo which is the operations Center of Rios Tropicales. You will have lunch there and your multiday trips in Rio Pacuare will start. 

The Pacuare River is rated one of the top rivers in the world for a host of reasons. The cascading waterfalls, and opulently lush rainforest with its brilliantly colored plants, animals, and birds make this trip exquisite for your senses. Add in the exciting Class II, III-IV whitewater rapids and you have a tropical adventure packed with rich experiences.

Accommodation at Rio Tropicales Eco Lodge tucked in the rainforest on the banks of the river.

Today you can enjoy rainforest hikes with naturalist guides, self-guided walks to waterfalls and pools, relaxing in a hammock overlooking the beautiful Pacuare River, birdwatching, or ziplining at an additional cost.

Have dinner in the open air with exceptional meals, more stars than you can imagine, and the vibrant sounds of the jungle.

Breakfast at the Ecolodge.

Pack and prepare to continue the adventure in the rapids of Pacuare River. After a great white water rafting experience you will exit the river. 

Have lunch at El Cairo, get changed and private transfer to San Jose airport for your departure.
