Itinerary:

5:30 pm – Meet your local guide at Parque de Santa Ana (next to the fountain)

5:45 pm - Transfer to one of the local Cantinas in the city to taste some of the local dishes that the Yucatecan cuisine has to offer. Learn about the local ingredients & stories around the place.

You will also enjoy a local beer from one of the Yucatecan draft factories or if you prefer, you can enjoy a traditional “agua fresca”.

6:30 pm – Stroll along the iconic Paseo de Montejo, Mérida’s most elegant avenue inspired by the Champs-Élysées. Admire grand colonial mansions, historic monuments, and city life as you make your way to Heladería El Colón, a local favorite since 1907, for a scoop of traditional sorbet or ice cream made from local fruits such as mamey, guanábana, or zapote.

7:00 pm– Hop on the Va y Ven, Mérida’s new modern public transportation system featuring clean, air-conditioned buses with accessible features and real-time tracking. Enjoy the smooth ride and experience the city like a local as you head to your next stop.

7:30 pm– Arrive at the beautiful and vibrant Parque de las Américas, one of the city's most beloved gathering spots. Surrounded by elegant Art Deco architecture and leafy walkways, this park is where locals come to relax, socialize, and—most importantly—snack! Try some of the best street-style snacks in the city, like esquites, marquesitas, or churros, while soaking in the lively, family-friendly atmosphere.

8:30 pm – Your guide will request an Uber ride for a comfortable and safe return to Parque de Santa Ana, wrapping up a flavorful and culturally rich evening in the heart of Mérida.
