Located in the center of Tuscany between Florence, Siena and Arezzo, Chianti (where we will be begin our adventure) is a charming hill covered region offering a picturesque landscape of small stone villages where time truly stands still. Nature is the protagonist in a trip to Chianti and we will be taking full advantage of this.
The remainder of our days together will be spent in Florence. Known as the birthplace of art, culture and food, Florence has it all. Walking through its streets, with its collection of buildings, paintings and sculptures, is like walking through the Renaissance.
NOTE: Given the continuously changing nature of the Coronavirus, as of October, 2021, we are now requiring all participants on our tours to be vaccinated. This is to protect not only the other tour participants but also the locals at the destinations to which we are traveling.
Today we will be meeting at the Firenze Santa Maria Novella Railway Station (time and exact location to be sent in a future mailing) and traveling as a group to our villa in Chianti www.poderelavalle.com which will serve as our home base for the next 5 days. Once here you will have a chance to unpack and explore the villa and it's surroundings before dinner. After dinner we will spend time getting to know one another before heading off to bed.
