Staff were very friendly. But I never received a confirmation that was promised. When I arrived at the assembly point, and the driver had checked me in, I got a message from CA reminding me of the trip. I told them I was already on the shuttle waiting for departure. They asked me to send a photo of the van, which I did. They messaged back saying I was on the wrong vehicle. Since I was already checked in with my luggage loaded on the roof. I gave up and figured they would figure it out.

En persona todo fue excelente, nos ayudaron con el transporte un montón, para agarrar los shuttles, todos muy amables y serviciales, lo único como a mejorar sera la comunicación por mensajes, que aveces no contestan o duran bastante en hacerlo, pero si se llama todo super bien. Los guias al tour del acatenango y fuego, super bien, atentos y cordiales. El campamento igual, una experiencia muy bonita todo. Me los recomendaron para hacer el tour y yo lo recomendaría igualmente!

I highly recommend this company! I’ve booked several tours with CA travelers. They are supporting a local school thanks to all the tours they offer which makes it even better to book with them. First I did the coffee bike tour with Pablo. He was very knowledgable and gave us interesting explanation about the coffee making, typical clothing, etc… we’ve tasted some fresh coffee and different types of jam, candies, beverages and a crunchy taco. It was a really nice experience to explore a bit of Guatemalan culture. I’ve also booked the Acatenango trek which was absolutely an incredible experience! The provided equipment and meals were great. The view from base camp on volcán Fuego was amazing. Thank you to the guides that made this trip unforgettable: Carlos, Lorena, David and Tigre. Your enthousiasm made us go up the volcano a little bit easier! Lastly, I’ve booked a shuttle. It picked me up at the office and dropped me off at the hotel which was perfect. And thanks to the guys at the office that were super nice and helpful every day I came into the office: Leo and Diego!

The tour Volcan Acatenango (2026) was more than satisfactory in every way. Our guide Morvin kept us well informed for every part of the hike. He was full of information and lots of fun. The tour unfolded exactly as he advised. I appreciated the equipment provided, and the meals were great, especially with wine for dinner, parmesan cheese for our pasta and marshmallows for roasting around the warming fire. The hike, for me - the very oldest in the group, by many years (!), was challenging but there were always guides nearby, and porters, if desired. CA is very well organized, and the tour was worth the price - absolutely. It was a thrill to see Fuego erupt, multiple times. Thank you CA for a terrific experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is contemplating going up.
