Upon our arrival in Barcelona, we pass through customs and collect our bags. After meeting our Tour Escort and boarding our bus, we proceed to our hotel for some time to rest. In the early evening, we celebrate our first Mass together followed by a special Welcome Dinner at our hotel.

 Today, we explore the medieval and renaissance splendor of cosmopolitan Barcelona! Beginning with a visit to the city’s famous Gothic Quarter to see the Cathedral of Barcelona, our walking tour will eventually lead us to La Boqueria. Located along the famous La Rambla promenade, this massive marketplace has been serving the people of the city for nearly 200 years and contains foods and crafts to suit any taste. We then transfer to what is perhaps Barcelona’s most iconic landmark, La Sagrada Familia. The Basilica, under construction since 1882, is regarded as one of the architect Antoni Gaudí’s most brilliant creations. It is a truly unique structure that our group will delight in exploring together before returning to our hotel for a group dinner.

 Depart Barcelona | Montserrat | Arrive Andorra la Vella

After breakfast, we continue our journey with a visit to the majestic Montserrat Monastery. Overlooking the valleys and plains below, the remote Monastery served as a place of refuge and recovery for St. Ignatius after the Siege of Pamplona. It was here, on the eve of the Annunciation in 1522, that he hung up his sword and dagger over Our Lady's altar, and like a true knight prepared to keep his vigil of arms. Our group will enjoy a guided tour of the Monastery as well as the opportunity to view the Black Madonna to which Ignatius committed his arms. Later, we continue our journey until we reach Andorra la Vella to check in to our hotel and gather for a group dinner to close the day.

 After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and begin the drive to Lourdes through the Occitan countryside. Arriving in Lourdes, we are struck by the majesty and serenity of the Sanctuary. Our group will tour the grounds with visits to the three Basilicas of the Immaculate Conception, the Rosary, and the impressive Saint Pius X – the largest underground Basilica in the world! For those who wish to participate, a candlelight procession will be held in the evening. 

Overnight: Lourdes (Breakfast, Lunch)

 This day we start with mass at the Grotto of Massabielle, where our Lady appeared to Bernadette in 1858. After Mass, we visit the famous Baths where thousands of miraculous cures have taken place. Here, we are given ample time to either bathe in the healing waters (local regulations permitting) or perform the “water gesture” popularized during recent years. Following our visit, the group is given the balance of the afternoon to explore Lourdes before gathering for a group dinner in the evening.

 Our last day in Lourdes begins with a look back at the life of St. Bernadette. Together, we will explore her past through visits to where she was born, baptized, raised, and educated. Later, we will be released to enjoy the last of our time in Lourdes before gathering in the evening to share a group dinner.

This morning, we bid Lourdes farewell and return to Toulouse to board our short flight to Lisbon. Upon our arrival, we depart the city and head North to Fatima. There, we check in to our hotel and enjoy a group dinner to close the day.

Today, we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima among thousands of our fellow pilgrims. Special events will take place throughout the day as the faithful gather in prayer to honor Our Lady and her many miracles.

Today, our group will begin with morning Mass at one of the Basilicas before being released to explore and pray throughout Fatima at our own individual pace. Later, we will gather for a group dinner to share reflections of our prayerful time in this sacred place.

After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and bid Fatima a fond farewell. Making our way South, we soon come upon the humble hamlet of Aljustrel. There we see the small house, now a museum, in which the three little shepherds of Fatima were raised. We then continue our journey a bit longer until we stop in Santarem to visit the Sanctuary of the Most Holy Miracle and venerate the Sacred Particle held therein. We arrive in Lisbon in the late afternoon to check in to our hotel and freshen up for our special Farewell Dinner!

Today we bid our fellow pilgrims farewell as we board our flights to return home. With us, we take cherished memories of prayerful days and moving experiences that will linger in our hearts for many years to come.
