This was a most enjoyable trip to the Big Apple! I’d do it again tomorrow if I could. The activities were great, the food was very good and the organization was good. Some additional stops were added and they enhanced the trip. The schedule was packed and there was considerable walking involved. It was tiring but exhilarating at the same time. New York City is truly magical before Christmas.

I was unable to attend this trip due to a medical situation. Sure I’m sorry I missed it

We had never experienced such an organized tour with many safeguards due to the timing of the trip and the Israel & Gaza strip turmoil. The ancient Egyptian history was our main reason to go and being able to see it in person exceeded expectations. The food was excellent and the exciting experiences of a camel ride, a wild carriage ride in Aswan, a balloon ride above the Valley of the Kings and visiting the home of a Nubian gentleman were such unexpected gems and highlights of the trip as well. Despite being an amazing trip, it was very strenuous and there was little free time to recuperate from the extensive heat even though it was late October & early November and expectations for the temperature was mid-upper 80’s fahrenheit , not the mid 90’s-100 that we experienced daily. Bottled water was plentiful and available for a low price, but as senior travelers in our late 60’s & early 70’s we did have heat exhaustion and missed a day of touring due to that. Thank you for an unforgettable trip.

wonderful bus driver, Patty. Some events were not planned out well. Should have spend more time(only 45 minutes) at Dollywood but ran of time. Most of the meals were not very good. Country Inn was a bad experience! Pretty tight schedule for the most part but I didn't have to drive!

While I enjoyed the destinations and activities, it would have been better to fly East rather than sit on a bus for days. We could have spent more time in New England. 3,100 miles on a bus and staying in eight hotels in nine days was exhausting. Some of the meals were very good and some were mediocre. Most of the lodgings were good but a couple were sub-standard. The group was congenial and we had a lot of fun. Our tour director and Hills Bank reps were excellent.
