Earn your Function Flow Certification: A 20-Hour Mobility Training that is Yoga Alliance Accredited – YACEP Continuing Education. This certification is revolutionary approach that integrates the science of functional mobility with the art of vinyasa. You’ll learn how to unlock greater range of motion at every major joint, build intelligent stability, and master fascial flossing techniques to hydrate and heal connective tissue—then learn how to weave these tools into dynamic, creative flows.

Mitzata is only 1 hr 30 minutes from the San Salvador airport and a private airport transfer will be provided!

Start your day with energizing vinyasa yoga, then spend the afternoon surfing, relaxing, or exploring. Ideal for those seeking restoration, nature, and movement.

🧠 Retreat + 20HR Functional Mobility Training (YACEP)
Join daily afternoon workshops focused on joint mobility, stability, and intelligent movement. You’ll leave with a Yoga Alliance-accredited 20-hour certificate and new tools to elevate your teaching.

Settle In

- 4:00 pm Checkin in to Mizata (you are welcome to arrive before that to use facilities, they will store your luggage)

- 5:00 pm- 6:30pm Functional Flow at the Beach Front Shala

- 7:00 pm Organic Dinner

Let the Learning Begin!

- Early birds surf hours, coffee/tea available

- 8:30 am Functional Flow

-10:00 am Breakfast

- 11:30 am - 1:30 pm Functional Flow Training Module 1

-1:30 pm Lunch

- Free Time the rest of the afternoon... sunbathing, reading, massages, surfing, naps

- 7:00pm Fam Dinner

- 8:30 am Functional Flow

- 11:30 am - 1:30 pm Functional Flow Training Module 2

- Free Time the rest of the afternoon... sunbathing, reading, massages, surfing, naps, hike a volcano?

- FREE time for surf lessons or an excursion to hike the volcano (can be booked upon arrival at hotel)

-9:00 am Shelby will lead an optional weighted mobility training session (aka a workout) at the Jungle Gym!

Shelby is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and has over 700hrs of Yoga Training across multiple styles. She blends ancient yoga and pranayama techniques with modern day anatomy knowledge to create a sustainable, fun and functional practice that incorporates lymphatic drainage and myo-fascial release.
