PM: This afternoon we will visit the Charles Darwin Station, where we can observe giant and the babies tortoises in captivity and learn about the breeding program of this majestic animal. 

This center is well known beacuse is the main base in charge of all the studies that conservationist does for the Galapagos, here you have a center-hall where you can learn all about the work they do. 

In this center you can see an exibition hall with relevant information of the Galapagos Islands plus some souvenirs where part of the money of your buy goes to support some of the projects of the Charles Darwin Foundation 

 AM: A 45 minute walk on a cobblestone path (2.5 km one way) leads you to fine a white sandy beach common in the archipelago. An endemic forest of the tall Opuntia Cactus and volcanic rock surrounds the path making the view from the trek beautiful and mysterious. Throughout your walk you can spot finches, yellow warblers, mockingbirds, and lava lizards. Once there, it is an excellent place for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking or surfing. Marine iguanas, sharks, sea birds and sea turtles can be spotted here 

Kicker rock islet.

Located on the west side of the island, a 45 minutes by boat from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno which makes it a great day excursion.

It consists of two stunning vertical walls/rock formation of 500 ft. surrounded by abundant sea life (specially sharks that includes the hammerhead) and a varitety of fishes. While snorkeling around the walls you have great sightings of marine life, including, sea turtles and sea lions.

During the excursion you also have time to explore one of the many beautiful beaches close to Kicker Rock where you will have time for relaxing on the beach or do some extra snorkeling.

Today we enjoy a box lunch onboard.

We arrive back to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno early afternoon. Enjoy some free time in town.

Today we have a full day activities, we will start to the Highlands of San Cristobal, to Junco Lagoon, this crater lake has a diameter of 270 meters, a surface of 360,000 square meters and a depth of 6 meters. It is supplied by rainwater only. The lagoon is the only fresh water source on the island and a habitat for many species of birds including Frigates, San Cristobal Mockingbirds and the White Cheeked Pintail.After Junco, we will visit LA GALAPAGUERA DE CERRO COLORADO TORTOISE RESERVE, to see San Cristobal’s Giant Tortoises, followed by Lunch.

In the afternoon we are going to visit LA LOBERIA, a beautiful beach where we can observe sea lions and marine iguanas; we are going to enjoy a short walk to observe the native flora and Darwin´s finches, finishing with a relaxing swim and snorkel in crystal clear water. Return to the hotel. Dinner (not included).
