A classic Everest Trekking, Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek is the trail taken by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenjing Norgay in 1953 A.D during the first summit of the Mount Everest. It is a longer version of the EBC trek and suits for trekkers wishing a long trekking in Himalayas.
This wonderful trekking combines visiting Sherpa Capital, the wonderful Tengboche Monastery and eventually Everest Base Camp. A hike up to Kalapathar- best view point to see highest peaks including Everest at sunrise is always spectacular.
