...the Gothia Cup is the world's largest and most International youth soccer tournament. Each year, approximately 1,700 teams from 80 nations take part, as they play over 4,500 matches on 110 fields.

On the first three days of our visit, we will acclimate in the beautiful lakeside bed and breakfast of "Two Shuttles"(Swedish -Två Skyttlar)  Once the tournament begins, we will check families into central Gothenburg hotels and players will join their team members in nearby school classroom accommodations.

At the time of registration, a $300 dollar deposit will be required; of which $150.00 will be non-refundable, non-transferable, per person.  Payment in full will be accepted at the time of booking, or a three payment installment plan will be generated based on time of booking.  

Final payments are due April 30, 2023. 

Flight 1: Depart from Major USA Airport - Arrival in Gothenburg, Sweden is typically the next day.

We will arrive in Gothenburg, Sweden and board a luxury coach bus to transfer to our host hotel...Två Skyttlar is located in the middle of Western Sweden, 50 minutes from Gothenburg, 35 minutes from Landvetter Airport and 30 minutes from Borås, surrounded by the most beautiful of environments with the forest, meadows and lake that frame our hotel. Our first full day in Sweden, we will spend acclimating to the surroundings and time change, and kick off our first friendly matches vs IFK Örby and other local teams! Swim in the lake for a refreshing recovery from the travel and first match!

We will travel by luxury motor coach to the Swedish west coast, and visit the beach city of Varberg.  There, we will have morning friendly matches vs the youth teams of VarbergBois - a premier team in the Swedish highest division of soccer.  After the matches, we will have a day in the city center and visit open air markets, souvenir shops, and tour the Varberg Fortress (Swedish: Varbergs fästning) which was constructed from 1287-1300!

Depart the Två Skyttlar Hotel and transfer to the Gothia Cup in downtown Gothenburg.  No games today, as it will be a full day of transitioning for the group.

Players will check into their school accommodations (TBD).

Parents and families will check into their hotel in the heart of Gothenburg!

Group Stage games- 4 games (opponents and times TBD).

The Gothia Cup 2023 opening ceremony will be Monday night.  50,000 people together at Ullevi Stadium for the parade of nations, music, and fireworks display!

The tournament continues with finals on Saturday. 

We will take a celebratory trip to Lisaberg Amusement Park and river boat tour on the Paden Boats - a Gothenburg Harbor Tour.
