After having such a fun time in Greece, I wanted to travel again with Melissa Byron’s company, A Solo Woman Traveling. The October/25 trip to Portugal did not disappoint. The first hotel was spectacular and is on the national monument register. The second hotel was a modern contrast with rooftop swimming pool and bar providing amazing panoramic views. The focus of this company is on smaller boutique hotels and fewer of them. No packing and unpacking daily to get on a bus and head to another hotel. Melissa provides a perfect mix of fun excursions and free time to relax. Transfers are by Uber, taxis or small vans which provides a comfortable, stress-free atmosphere. Melissa has an extensive knowledge of Portugal and instead of covering great distances, the focus is on interesting locations without hours of getting there. I look forward to travelling with Melissa in the future as I know a good time is guaranteed.

In one word…PERFECTION!! Portugal is an experience like none other, whether you’re a foodie, love history, hiking, beaches, architecture or shopping, it’s got it all!!! The people are polite and friendly! Melissa Byron is the most amazing tourism guide, she’s always checking on everyone, making sure everything is to our expectations. Don’t let me get started on the accommodation’s she provided🤯 over the top…if you like feeling like a princess, trust me your expectations will be beyond any creative minds imagination! This tour is not a huge bus full of people trying to take in all the sights in a couple of days…this is for the person that wants to experience traveling like a native! Seeing places out of the way where no tourist go! Melissa you rock 🤘. Thank you a million and one times!!!

What a fabulous experience! I can't say enough about traveling on one of "Melissa's Tours." Exceeded my expectations. The hotels were gorgeous, restaurants impressed my foodie soul, excursions were a good combo of "there is a reason thousands flock here" and going totally off the beaten path. And completely stress free. All you have to do is get to your airport and then just sit back and enjoy. The best part though is the personal touch - getting to know both Melissa and travel mates in such a small group - you will walk away with a newfound family. It is both professional and personal at the same time. This truly is Melissas special sauce. I will be planning the next one shortly!

Greece is my new favorite country, and I have to back! I didn't know what to expect from this trip/ travel style, but I'm SO glad I just went for it. It has given me a sense of freedom. It was hard to say goodbye to everyone...I mentioned we had a perfect little world over there, and there is something so refreshing in still making friends as an adult.
