Day 1
To the Caribean Sea and Wayuú Culture
- Reception at the Riohacha airport.
- Transfer to the hotel (Gimaura or Arimaca).
- Check-in and lunch.
- Transfer to the Wayuú community.
- Tour with the community and weaving workshop.
- Show of traditional dances and rituals of the Wayúu culture.
- Traditional Wayuú dinner.
- Transfer to the hotel.
- Free time to enjoy the hotel pool.
Day 2
From the Desert to the Sea
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Departure in 4x4 vehicles to Cabo de la Vela (3 hours approx).
- Stop at Uribia, indigenous capital city and Manaure town to visit the salt lakes.
- At midday you arrive to Cabo de la Vela.
- Traditional lunch in front of the Caribean sea.
- In the afternoon, visit to Playa Dorada - Pilón de Azucar, time to enjoy the sea.
- Sunset in the lighthouse.
- Transfer to the Wayuú community houses and spend the night on hammocks at the seashore.
- Dinner.
Day 3
Sunrise in the desert
- Breakfast in traditional rooms.
- At 8:00 departure to Riohacha. (4 hrs travel time).
- Tour on the boardwalk.
- Transfer to the airport to take your flight.
