Words can do no justice to how life-changing this trip was. Not only did we get to experience history first hand, the Haitian Nomad team also made sure that we were treated like VIP's. I had my whole family with me and the level of service we experienced was phenomenal. We are looking forward to joining them again for other trips. If you are going anywhere you need the Haitian Nomad team... Epi Dats It!

If I could give 10 STARS I would!!!!! Hotel / Meals 10 Stars... Tours 10 Stars.. Beaches 10 Stars... Citadel 10 Stars... Sans-Souci Palace 10 Stars.. Videographer/Photographer/Haitan Nomad Team 10 Stars The Haitian Nomad and his Team are truly that, a TEAM! Even in a Pandemic and the uncertainty of travel, Haitian Nomad made sure to be Transparent, Responsible, and Professional. I had a point of reference for a tour of Haiti because in August 2019, I used an independent Haitian Tour Guide.....very disappointing. But even in a 2020 Pandemic, Haitian Nomad DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I felt safe the entire time, we masked up and exercised safety precautions! There were so many uncertainties as we prepared for the Airline cancellations and re booking due to the Pandemic, but Haitian Nomad was Always in communication; he even responded to my flight inquiries while he was out of the office and even looked for flight options; for this I'm grateful. Haitian Nomad showed us the History of Haiti and its influence in Black History today as well as special excursions, the typical Haitian cuisine, Kassava making tour, the specially prepared seafood meals on the private beach was exhilarating! If you don't know Haiti's history in World History, you need this trip, Haitian or not!!! The water was warm and clear, absolutely breathtaking. Supporting local Haitian businesses was important for me and was memorable! We saw the typical Haitian life and resiliency of the Haitian people. Their pride and Dignity is to be admired and respected; and being able to see the good, bad, and reality of how beautiful Haiti is! I had a special request of Haitian coffee, so the Haitian Nomad made sure we got the Best quality and price for every purchase made. His team accompanied us to a special Souvenir shop, helped us with ordering meals, and offered to take pictures for us. The group of us that went included some pretty influential people who are dope but also humble and so down to earth. We connected and bonded and we feel like we've made lifelong friends! The music, drinks, food, dancing; the whole vibe and ambience of the trip was just chill and very relaxing. Honestly I can't say I would change anything except I need another trip to buy paintings, go zip lining, and a nice pair of Haitian hand made leather sandals. My only advice is that you subscribe to the newsletters, cut all unnecessary spending and plan your next travel excursion with Haitian Nomad; bring an extra suitcase just for Haitian handmade goods, rum, and coffee to name a few of the treasures you don't wanna miss out on! Happy traveling & in good health!

Amazing time as always on any Haitian Nomad trip I attend. I've been to Haiti many times and this time was extra special as we got exclusive access to the Citadelle that i've never been able to see before. That was super dope! I also got to visit another Fort (Fort Picolet) that was breathtaking! These trips are always the perfect mix of education, delicious cuisine, relaxing on beautiful beaches and immersing myself deeply into the culture. This is a trip you don't want to skip! The team is super accommodating and always makes sure they have your best interest in mind. Visit Haiti with Haitian Nomad!!!

The trip was amazing! I am impressed that in the midst of a pandemic the team was able to pull together all of the events and locations we were able to attend. The only down sides were pandemic related and obviously outside the control of the team. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to accommodate us. Y'all can keep taking my monies!

I have been traveling with Haitian Nomad since 2016. Within these 4 years they have built themselves a very solid reputation. I have recommended friends who came back with praising reviews. Originally centered on Haiti, they now have a global imprint with well-curated trips to discover the beauty and history of some dope locations. On Richard's trips, careful consideration is always taken for our security as well as our health. We see that illustrated even more in 2020 as we deal with the current pandemic. On our most recent trip, we made sure to be in complete compliance with both the US and Senegal by getting tested for COVID-19 before, during and after our trip. All of us left and came with back with negative results. As a healthcare provider, I felt in trusted hands the whole time and also did not feel that our group was compromising the health of the country we were visiting. The itineraries usually includes a mix of activity and relaxation (sometimes hardcore rejoicing at night lol). The best part is you always leave Richard's trips with unique travel experiences as well as lifelong friendships.

Short Version: Book with him ASAP I cannot recommend the Haitian Nomad enough!! My first trip, we'd returned from Cuba and after the experience, I was thoroughly impressed with Richard's trip. His trips are extremely well planned and a lot of thought and effort was put into ensuring everyone is having the time of their life. Richard pays attention to all the little details, is very organized, and adds a personal touch to the experience that you're not likely to get anywhere else. During our trip to Cuba, Richard organized a wonderful home-cooked rooftop dinner in the city of Trinidad and it was such a fun, unique experience. He made sure to take us around to the sights and helped us if we needed anything while on the trip. Prior to the trip, Richard provided us with all the necessary information leading up to the trip and gave us tips and suggestions on what to expect and other things to do as well. He is also open to feedback on how his service can be improved so he gets an A in customer service from me. Overall, it was the perfect trip and I couldn't have asked for more. So far I've been on about 5 or 6 trips (maybe more) and it exceeds expectations every time!
