About this trip

Join International Trainer Leslie Nipps for an adventure in ancestral healing, in beautiful Thailand.

Do you ever feel that you have problems that don’t belong to you? For all of us, at one time or another, we confront a problem that just won’t go away. It’s got a special tenaciousness, whether it’s depression or relationship issues or a chronic illness. There is a growing body of evidence that it's possible to inherit ancestral trauma. Whether we know our family’s history or not, it can still show up in our lives. We can inherit family depression, grief, guilt, and even the intense impacts of violence, often from events many generations back. If these events were too overwhelming for the family, or they were cloaked in secrecy or social taboos, it may not have been able to be integrated and honored at the time. As a result, the unresolved feelings float around the family system. Systemic (or Family) Constellations are an elegant approach to releasing our entanglements with larger family patterns and replacing them with deep ancestral support and love.

How do Constellations help?

1. They allow us to see the unseen – the unconscious of our family systems holding old unresolved issues, even if that history has been lost from the family story. We can discover and witness the pain of the one who lost his comrades in war; the mother who lost several children in a row to starvation; the terrible betrayal of brother against brother; the loss of ancestral lands in a forced migration; and much more. Once we’ve revealed the truth of the family soul, constellations does another thing:

2. They re-balance systems, and bring them back into proper arrangement, by honoring, including, releasing and finding a good place in our hearts for the suffering (and not taking it on for ourselves). Sometimes it includes hearing a violator take responsibility for their guilt; or a mother speak of how completely overwhelming the Holocaust was to her heart; or a child who died too young simply say, “I am at peace.” And then, constellations allows one more healing movement:

3. They help us receive strength from our ancestors – all of them. From the victims, the perpetrators, the “winners,” and “the losers.” We are able to receive our full life – which is our birthright – from our complex ancestors, and discover they want full life for us.

This 5 day transformational workshop is for you if…
…you still have one or two big problems you want to change, and which have resisted other attempts to make things different
…you are intrigued by the idea of receiving strength from your ancestors, and want to connect with them more closely
…you are a healing practitioner or coach who wants another way to support your clients in their personal growth
…you are a constellation geek (you know who you are!)

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Please note that this is an alcohol, drug, and smoke-free program and venue.

What will we do?

The program will be a variety of constellation practices, group process, sharing, and group reflection: Together, we’ll launch into understanding our emotional ancestral inheritances, and understand how they are honored and cleared. In group process, we'll work on connecting with our ancestors, bowing to ancient losses and suffering, and finding unexpected strength. We’ll share and reflect together, becoming a group of resilience, tenderness, and support. We’ll also take some time off to rest, recreate, play and enjoy our beautiful venue.

Ancestors + Nature = Healing. Thailand is a beautiful, sacred region and the highly rated Museflower Retreat & Spa is the ideal place for our transformational workshop. As part of our constellation work, we will be connecting with nature to find ancestors there, too.

This retreat surpassed all of my expectations. Tammy and Fernando created a truly wonderful, healing program. It was so well organized - exactly what I needed. The accommodations were exactly what I expected (shown on the website). The chef and his team prepared delicious food. All of the participants were awesome, and I know I will stay in touch with many of these wonderful, interesting people. The intentions I set on this retreat will guide me as I move forward in 2018, and I can see myself making a New Years retreat each year. All my gratitude to Tammy and Fernando for creating such an empowering, loving experience. XO Denise
