Hotel La Isla

Our transfer from the baltra Island airport to the La Isla Hotel on Santa Cruz Island was excellent. It was very smooth. Diego met us at the airport and got us on to the bus, then to the ferry, and then drove us all the way from the ferry down to La Isla hotel. Diego did a fantastic job and we used him several times during our stay as a taxi service also.

Transfer Airport-Hotel

We had a great one night stay at Hotel La Isla. Our room, staff, and buffet breakfast were top notch. If the need arises a second stay will certainly happen. The location is very close to restaurants and shops. There were no concerns for our safety. Taxi shuttle back to Baltra was on time and quick.

Hotel La Isla made our trip to the Galapagos magical. It’s a lovely boutique hotel close to the center of town. The rooms updated and modern with an island vibe. The staff was amazing, all so willing to help with activities, special requests recommendations and transportation. We can not thank them enough for inspiring this trip to be one we make again in the future perhaps every year. It’s a lovely area to explore. Thank you!!

It was easy and the driver actually went on the ferry to Baltra with me and made sure my luggage got in and off the bus at the airport. He also asked if I wanted to stop at Los gemelos which was so kind and I enjoyed getting to see. It’s much less expensive to take the bus, but I was worried about navigating the times for getting back, which seemed more complicated than on the way. I was also tired and had to leave early so I booked this transfer. 3x as expensive, but you do get first class treatment 

It was a great transfer to Baltra airport.
Diego guided all my way from the hotel via the ferry and the bus to the airport.
It was somehow the head off version of airport transfer.
Great and definitely a recommendation.
I bit more expensive of course than the self organized transfer but worth it

Hotel La Isla was incredible!  We stayed there for 4 nights while loving our time in the Galapagos.  The staff was friendly and always attentive to our needs.  The room was very comfortable and if you stay there we recommend Room 202 as there is an amazing ocean view!  Please don’t miss the delicious breakfast and enjoy every second of this great property!

Everybody was very helpful. Our room had street light coming in and the hotel was able to change the room.  It was a very comfortable stay and hotel was centrally located.

Thank you very much for your input. Indeed, making all the arrangements, from the person who received your transfer request, contact the supplier, organize the transfer, the other  person who meet you and assist you at the airport, the luggage carry-on, the ferry tickets, the bus tickets, the private transport service, the daily rental of the space for parking and more, of course there is a hole organization and payments involved that makes of this service price different but a good quality one. 
We sent that day  the same driver from the hotel  and ask him to charge a generic price as he was moving to the canal for further services.

We appreciate your input and are glad that all this logistic has made of your trip in a pleasant and confortable one.

Transfer supplier for Hotel La Isla.

Good service, the taxi driver picked us up at the airport and accompanied us with the airport bus to the ferry, with short ferry and then on his taxi. This was included in the Transfer price, which costs normally like 5-6$ per person. 
Yet, there is still a very big difference in the price for this transfer (120$) and the regular price for a taxi from Puerto Ayora to the ferry (25$). So this service is quite overpriced. In fact, going back to the airport, we had the same taxi, up to the ferry, and he charged us only 25$...

We had an amazing time! Hotel was beautiful and very clean. The area was perfect, right in the middle of everything. Great food and great people! The airport transfer to go home was great, they made it so easy and stress free!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel.  The room was spacious and had a fabulous deck with an ocean view.  I would highly recommend this hotel.  It was clean, modern, walking distance to the waterfront and had a very friendly and helpful staff.  I give this hotel five stars.  We had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant and the breakfasts were good.

Muy malo
Me cobraro más de tres veces lo que vale hacerlo por uno mismo, pero era porque pagaba hasta el aeropueto, sin embargo me dejó el chofer después de ferry y me dijo que si quería podía acompañarme otra persona que ni la conocía y no era la que el hotel había asignado.
Muy mala la atención. Me sentí estafada

La Isla is a nice little hotel just off the main walking street in Puerto Ayora. We were lucky to get a room on the top floor next to the terrace. As the bar closes at 8pm it felt like the terrace was ours. Sea view included. Like all hotels the quality of service depends on the staff. In this case Blanca provided amazing service and helped us with all kind of issues, bookings and more. Her professional and positive attitude (and knowledge) is reason enough to stay at La Isla. Things to improve.? Well, the breakfast needs to get better. Small hotel, small breakfast, fine, but the juices were undrinkable. I'm not fuzzy but it was no way that either me or my wife could drink any of them. Add poor coffee, way too loud elevator music and cold bacon & egg (if you arrive late) and the breakfast becomes a sad experience. Blanca and Co, keep up the good work and the hotel will be the best in the village! Lars and Maria.

We had great time. Perfect location. Our room was on the 1st floor and a big family was staying at the hotel the same time with us -  extremely noisy from 6am every morning.
