We look forward to your participation in the Inaugural Illinois & Gateway Section PGA International Pro-Am taking place in England's Golf Coast from September 14 to 18, 2021. Playing 3 Open Championship venues, teams will compete on golf's most hallowed championship links on England's Golf Coast.

Established in 1996, Fairways to Heaven Golf is comprised of a team of passionate individuals with more than 50 years of combined experience in the world of golf and hospitality. We have a network of professionals and executive contacts within these industries to support us in the design and delivery of each unique and personalized experience.

IMPORTANT NOTE: THE FOLLOWING CHANGE IN OUR STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS TRIP. Arrival Day & Practice Round
Guests will arrive into Manchester Airport and be met in the Arrivals Hall by a Fairways to Heaven Golf Travel rep. You will then be transported to the Hard Days Night Hotel where you will check in for 4 nights. Lunch will then be served at the Southport & Ainsdale clubhouse followed by a practice round in the early afternoon.

Two time Ryder Cup venue and UK Top 100 ranked course. A testing championship course with first class facilities, S&A – as it is widely and affectionately known, was founded in 1906, part of the great golf boom around the turn of the 20th century. Inevitably the passing of so many years has brought about changes to the course, but the traditional feel of a championship links has been retained.

After golf, a welcome reception will be held in the evening at the Hard Days Night Hotel.

Competition Round 1
The competitive portion of the event kicks off with round 1 at Royal Birkdale, 10 time host course of the Open Championship, Most recently the site of the exciting win by Jordan Spieth as he dueled Matt Kuchar on the back 9.

Royal Birkdale has held more Championship and International events since World War 2 than any other course in the world. Open Championships, Ryder Cups, Women's British Opens, Senior Opens, Amateur Championships, Walker Cups and Curtis Cups.

Royal Birkdale Golf Club has been voted the number one golf club in England, one of the top five clubs in the UK and amongst the top 35 in the world. Visitors are assured of a warm welcome on and off the course delivering a golfing experience second to none.

After golf, guests have evening free in Liverpool.

Competition Round 2
Next up for competition round 2 is a round at Royal Lytham & St Anne's. Host site of the Open Championship 11 times, the course presents a unique challenge with 167 bunkers littered across the course putting a premium on accuracy.

https://www.royallytham.org/ Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club was founded in 1886 and the present Course constructed in 1897. The Clubhouse celebrated its Centenary in 1998. It is one of the premier links courses in the world, host to eleven Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and numerous other major tournaments including the Women's and Seniors Open Championships and the Walker Cup in 2015. Northern hospitality has always been famous and Royal Lytham leads the way.

Competition Round 3
The final round of competition takes places at Royal Liverpool or affectionately known by the locals as Hoylake. 12 times host course for the Open Championship and site of Rory McIroy's win in 2014, and scheduled to return in 2023.

The course was created to be a demanding test of golf and remains so, and lies at the very heart of the history and development of the game in Great Britain.

After golf, guests will attend a awards dinner for prize giving and closing remarks.

Great golf courses and hotels. All events and transportation was prompt. The transportation used to and from courses and the airport was less than expected (school bus vs. coaches), which made for very crowded and uncomfortable travel.

Just returned from a week-long trip to Scotland. We had a great experience! The courses we played were outstanding and the accommodations were nice. We did three days in the Highlands and four days in St. Andrews. It was a long drive from Inverness to St. Andrews, especially after 36 holes but it was worth it. Our driver was great and he made sure we arrived everywhere on time. We had a couple of extra requests while we were in Scotland and Fairways to Heaven was able to deliver. It was very much appreciated. Can't wait to plan another trip.
