This is what this Impact Expedition series is about. Primarily designed for, by, and with women explorers. Under the theme “Travel with Purpose. Connect with Intention”
From September 14 to 22, 2025, join me to explore the lush wonders of the Amazon rainforest, starting in Puerto Maldonado and along Las Piedras River. This expedition combines biodiversity education, wildlife conservation, exhilarating adventure in pristine forest and nature reserve in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.
You will get to meet the local conservationists and environmentalists who dedicate more than a decade to protect our lungs of the earth and engage in part of their biodiversity research and animal rewilding activities, learning about the challenges wildlife and indigenous communities face due to habitat loss and illegal trade while also discovering the importance of preserving the delicate ecosystem of the Amazon.
We will also embark on excursions with a professional guide to explore the pristine forests and Lake Sandoval in Tambopata National Reserve. During the canopy adventure, you will immerse yourself in the lush Amazon jungle and enjoy a thrilling walk atop the forest canopy. These experiences will offer unique perspectives on the breathtaking Amazon rainforest. It's truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
Join me in this Impact Expedition to travel with purpose and connect with intention!

Pre-trip:
During the trip: (Group of 10 women explorers + 1-2 cohosts)
Post-trip:
Each expedition embodies the principle of giving back: On top of funding the wildlife and biodiversity conservation effort in the Amazon Rainforest in Peru, your place also implies funding the Girls’ Scholarship Program in Myanmar/Thailand. By partnering with Daughters Rising, Girls Be Change will reinvest net profits from the expeditions to support the Girls’ Scholarship Program, allowing ethnic minority women from Myanmar and those in refugee camps to pursue higher education. This ripple effect—where empowering one woman empowers many—is at the core of our mission.
