About this trip

Poland and ancient Bohemia are lands where faith has withstood wars, persecution, and darkness, giving the Church some of the most luminous witnesses of modern times: Saint Faustina Kowalska, messenger of Divine Mercy; Saint Maximilian Kolbe, martyr of charity; and Saint John Paul II, universal shepherd whose life profoundly marked the 20th century. On this pilgrimage, we will journey through the places where these saints lived and left incredible traces of the Gospel: Łagiewniki, Niepokalanów, Auschwitz, Jasna Góra, Wadowice, and Kraków—spiritual hearts of a nation that never ceased to believe.

To these treasures of Poland is added the spiritual beauty of Prague, where the Infant Jesus blesses the world from the Church of Our Lady of Victory, and where shrines such as Svatá Hora and the city’s medieval churches speak of centuries of devotion, art, and faith. Central Europe thus reveals itself as a mosaic of mercy, martyrdom, and hope, where God has continued to act even in the most difficult moments of history.

This itinerary also offers a profound encounter with the continent’s recent history: places marked by humanity’s suffering, such as Auschwitz, become spaces of reflection where the light of Christian witness overcomes darkness. Each day alternates moments of recollection, celebrations, walking, culture, and fraternity, inviting the pilgrim to live an integral experience in which, as individual pilgrims and as a community of faith, we journey forward together.

This is not merely a cultural trip, but an interior path of prayer and contemplation. It is an opportunity to rediscover the strength of faith borne witness by the saints, to unite as a community, and to allow ourselves to be renewed by the Mercy of Christ through every shrine, every venerated relic, and every shared celebration.

The beauty of these countries and the spiritual depth of their traditions will accompany the pilgrim at every step of the journey. We express our profound gratitude to Father Matías Hualpa, whose trust and pastoral guidance make this pilgrimage possible, as well as to each pilgrim who joins this spiritual path with an open heart. May this journey lead us closer to the Merciful Heart of Jesus and allow us to return strengthened, grateful, and filled with the grace received.
