Our trip to Spain with La Ermita de la Caridad was a truly wonderful and unforgettable spiritual experience. Visiting the sacred relics of the Passion of Christ allowed us to deepen our faith, reflect on His infinite love and sacrifice, and strengthen our bond as a community of believers. Every moment was filled with prayer, reverence, and gratitude, creating beautiful memories that will remain forever in our hearts. It was not just a journey through history, but a meaningful pilgrimage that brought us closer to Christ and enriched our spiritual lives.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our pilgrimage to Assisi. Under the capable and loving leadership of Father Rumin, we emerged with a new understanding of St. Francis and his teachings that will remain with us always. Thank you, Father, for sharing your beloved Franciscan world with us. We also made many new and great friends among our fellow pilgrims. We met as strangers and parted as friends sharing this wonderful trip. Our guide, Charo, was outstanding. Her knowledge of history and art is impressive making our experience in each city more meaningful. She frequently went out of her way to accommodate our special needs with a genuine desire to make our trip as comfortable as possible. Her job was not easy and she frequently demonstrated laudable patience with noncompliance among some members of the group. Any group would be most fortunate to experience Charo's charm and wealth of knowledge. Our chauffeur, Francesco, was also excellent. He was always there to get us where we needed to be and always with a smile, good humor and a warm greeting. We were all immensely impressed by his driving skills in the large cities like Rome and Florence. Thank you, Charo and Francesco, for taking such good care of us. Our hotels were comfortable and thoughtfully chosen to accommodate our plan for each city. The food in the hotels was generally very good and well-presented even though we were looking forward to more traditional Italian dishes. However, breakfast was always outstanding offering a wide variety of food for any type of personal diet. The service in our hotels was conscientious and always offered with courtesy and care. We'd like to acknowledge Pilgrim Groups Travel for their detailed information regarding cost of the trip. From the very beginning, they clearly explained that the cost would vary depending on the number of people actually going so there were no surprises. We are most grateful to them for arranging access to such significant sites and making it possible for us to have mass in such beautiful chapels. Thank you, Sergio and Family, for your courtesy and efforts to make this a memorable trip for us.

Charo, our guide, and Francesco, our driver, were both a delight, and extremely patient. The pilgrimage was a very moving spiritual and cognitive experience. Father Rumin, as always, did an outstanding job keeping the focus on the pilgrimage (not tourism) goal of the trip. All incidentals were just that. The organizers were very responsive and prompt to answer questions and accommodating personal requests. They did a marvelous job of securing access to the core of Franciscan sites, including the opportunity to hold mass in historically significant chapels that are not available to the general public; to say nothing of the beauty of the places of worship and the Italian landscape. We started as a group of strangers and now are a family of 24. "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20

Thank you, thank you, Thank you so much. It was an amazing experience. This is my first pilgrimage and I cannot wait for future ones with this agency. The Hotels and restaurants were great specially with a large group. Our guide Charo was exceptional extremely knowledgeable of the places we were visiting a true treasure; without her we would have never accomplish so much. She was accommodating and patient with our group. She fulfilled all of our requests and helped us navigate a foreign culture. The owners really delivered; even visited us mid pilgrimage to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely recommend them and their associates to anyone planning a pilgrimage.

We had comfortable hotels. Food was average. Charo was a very dedicated and hard-working tourist guide that tried to do her best. The company organization is very poor. They did not answer our multiple calls, text messages and mails and these happened also to the majority members of the group. I requested several things multiple times starting three months before the trip and they never did it. We were unable to obtain a numbered seat in the plane until the night before. These people are extremely manipulative, what they said is totally different from the real facts, but they do not accept it. They are after your money, selling you many extras. As a travel agent they supposed to provide a service on obtain a seat on the plane, better seats or any change requested from the airline. Instead of that they charged almost twice the amount that the airline requested for any changes, and they don't let you do it directly. The communication with them is extremely poor. They stated one price and that we have enough people registered for that price. They knew the size of the group since the registration was closed 1 1/2 month before, but delay that information on purpose. In the final meeting, 5 days before the departure, they said that each person must pay $1,600 more, knowing that at that time you cannot do anything. I do not recommend Pilgrim Groups Travel or Engrupoviajes (they use 2 different names). To me, they are “wolves in sheep’s clothing”.
