This is a trip I will never forget thanks to our wonderful guide, Yannick. He has been a member of this community for years and took a special effort to show us all the landscapes thesacred valley had to offer. This was truly both a culinary and hiking experience that took us off the beaten path where we barely saw other hikers and truly experienced a retreat. An amazing trip all around and would highly recommend

Strengths: 1. Santi, Pao, and Alex were amazing guides - so thoughtful, supportive, patient, and always in good spirits throughout the whole trip. 2. Yoga sessions: this was one of my favorite activities because it helped us slow down, reflect, and take care of our bodies. It was restful, soothing, and she was such a calming presence. 3. Chinampas: this was a highlight of the trip. I learned so much about the history of Mexico City, and the guide was amazing. Areas for growth: 1. There were some meals that just was not enough food, considering how many calories we were burning with all the running. Fueling with right nutrition is important with running, and I think the food options were not adequate (dinner on night 1 and lunch at UNAM). In addition, it is very hard to run without breakfast or some kind of snack in the morning, and I wish we had food in the morning before our running began (day 3, and day 4 mornings). 2. I think it would have been perfect with one more day in the trip. everything happened too quickly and not enough time to rest in my opinion. Adding one extra so things can be spread out a little bit more would have been nice- it would have been nice to separate the long trail run and the temezcal on different days. Overall, it was an AMAZING experience!!

That week was incredible. So much happened in short amount of time, but that wasn’t too much. I would have take more! Costa Rica has so much to offer and we were lucky enough to enjoy many wildlife. Food was always great, people were nice and I will keep only good memories. Pura Vida
