This was a truly unique experience in Egypt to connect to sacred/historical sites, traditions and culture with incredible accommodations, company and guides. From the beginning of the trip, I put my trust in Maari and the journey that she curated for the journey. I was grateful to not have to worry about transportation and logistics and found that every detail was covered through the caring team at Quest Travel. The accommodations were luxurious, comfortable and authentic to Egypt, its traditions and previous generations of elite travelers, from the Nile River boat to the centuries-old historic hotels and the delicious food. In addition to the ambiance, we were cared for, supported and guided by knowledgeable and friendly locals throughout the trip, including our Egyptologist and logistical master who made us feel welcome in their country and favorite spaces. This in itself, was unique to any other trip that I had been on previously. As my first "sacred journey," I found that there was the intention and ability to connect on a deep level with the sacred sites and to understand the significance that these places had to those who created and lived among them. It facilitated the opportunity to not only reflect on the past, but how these ancient traditions and knowledge is still relevant today. Simply seeing these sites in-person is awe inspiring, so the guidance and information shared before and during the trip created a special opportunity to be immersed in these spaces. We were also able to experience the sites in such an intimate way, in part because we were often the only people in these spaces before the crowds of large tour buses entered, or we had exclusive access to spaces as if we were in our own movie! Maari was such a graceful guide, helping the group set intentions for being in the spaces and facilitating connections and personal reflections throughout the journey. This environment facilitated meaningful experiences at several sites, including the Great Sphinx, pyramids and temples. Visits to these sites were complimented by connection to traditional healing approaches such as essential oils, teas, spices and simply drifting down the Nile River. The entire experience was quite spectacular and I would recommend it to anyone who is curious and interested in connecting to the places and history in Egypt.

Being in Egypt for a second time on the sacred journey led by Maari did not disappoint. My bodies remembered the imprints from the first trip, and this familiarity allowed me to go even deeper in a more seamless and dynamic way than before (and the first trip was deep and beautiful). My experiences at each of the sites and with each of the Neteru (gods and goddesses) was unique from the first trip, offering new messages and healing experiences. This trip was a beautiful coming home in every sense of the way. Home to myself, home to the sacred sites, home to the incredible staff on our private yacht, home to a beautiful country full of heart, and home to mother Egypt. Maari facilitated beautiful ceremonies and provided a safe container that served as a foundation of connection and support throughout our journey within our tight knit group. What a phenomenal experience! With gratitude, Stacey

This was my second trip to Egypt with Maari and Inner Alchemy. I knew before the first trip was over that I'd be back. Egypt is simply amazing and the Inner Alchemy experience gives you an understanding of the gods, goddesses and their stories on a personal level in addition to learning the meaning of the sites you visit in their cultural and historical contexts. Each time I went, I felt I was bringing home something profound, lasting and life changing. Maari creates a container for the group with pre-travel calls. These were instrumental in introducing Egypt ahead of the trip, and the travelers to each other. We bonded as a group even before we arrived. And spiritual travel with like-souled people deepens the experience further. A special shout out to Quest, which provides the on the ground logistics, and to our wonderful Egyptologist. We were well cared for throughout our entire journey.

I said yes to the sacred journey to Egypt, long before I told Maari I was going. I have known since I was young I was meant to travel to Egypt, but it needed to be more than just from a tourist perspective. I have been working with Maari for almost two years and have come to trust and adore her, and knew this would be the perfect pairing. A way to connect with Egypt and all it has to offer, in a deeper, more meaningful way than just observing "the attractions." The experience is difficult to explain, because its so deeply personal for every traveler, but for me there are a few things that I'll comment on here, that I think many of the people in our group would probably agree with, and certainly they are incredibly meaningful for me. The first is relating to group travel. I am very much an independent solo traveler. I was nervous/hesitant about group travel, because I tend to prefer setting my own schedule, deciding how long I want to spend somewhere and moving at my own pace. Not to mention, the anxiety about spending 2 weeks in constant presence of a group. This was always the first question my friends and family asked me when I shared that I was going on a group trip to Egypt. "How are you going to do in a group travel setting?" I will be the first to say that the people who sign up for this trip are looking for a similar experience as me. Something that Maari intentionally creates a container for. My fellow travelers were all incredibly respectful and open, and I know that Maari's process of interviewing interested travelers, creating a container that provides a safe space to be completely open, hosting zoom and in-person meetings ahead of the trip, and even how she thoughtfully pairs you with a roommate (if you're a solo traveler) will leave you feeling like you are free to be yourself, dig deep in your own spiritual journey, and also connect in a meaningful and intentional way with the group. The group as a whole and each individual member of the group added to the experience, and I fully credit Maari for being so intentional with how she constructs and leads this experience. Wow, what a relief that my biggest concern was so incredibly cared for. Thank you! The second experience I will comment on is how perfectly the trip flowed. With so many moving pieces, and the challenge of conducting a spiritually led experience in places that are typically riddled with unassuming/unaware tourists, you would never know that the sites weren't completely blocked off for us. (Yes there are some private visits, but I'm referring to the visits that are not private visits.) Maari works tirelessly with the host travel company Quest to ensure that our days are timed just perfectly. We arrived to many sites early enough that we were the first group on-site. This allowed us to move in and out of ceremony without distraction. I always felt safe from a physical perspective, which I credit to Quest, but also and just as importantly, I felt safe from an emotional, energetic, and spiritual stand point. This is testament to Maari's awareness of where each of the people in our group was, at any given moment. She met me exactly where I was, allowing me space to grieve, celebrate, laugh, turn inward, or speak up and share. I felt so held. Thank you!! I will also add that there is a perfect mix and flow of activities that intertwined with the ceremonial and spiritual component of this trip. We enjoyed everything from fun restaurants, to live music and entertainment, history and culture lessons, tasting local cuisines, meeting and interacting with locals, racing around on tuk-tuks, and even adventure, like flying in a hot air balloon. There are no shortages of twists, turns, surprises, and excitement on this trip. If you are looking for a trip that feeds all of your senses, boosts your connection with self and others, and offers immense opportunity for personal growth, this is it. I would recommend it 1000% if you are looking for a deeper connection with Egypt, beyond just "seeing the pyramids".

Five stars isn’t enough for this trip - I would happily give it 10! I had high expectations based on the visionary and well thought out itinerary which were dramatically exceeded over and over again. The attention to detail for the full two weeks is scrupulous. Maari is an extremely capable leader both in executing the logistics of this trip and in ensuring everyone is looked after body, mind & soul. I have only just returned from the 2025 Egypt trip and already I am trying to determine if I can commit to Egypt 2026. Regardless if you have travelled a lot or not at all; if you are long on the path of your spiritual journey or just starting, this trip offers so much to everyone, exactly where they are. Without a doubt the best tour I have ever been on, nothing else comes close. Excellent communication including informative historical context is conveyed at every site visited from a professional Egyptologist. Day-to-day logistics are looked after by a highly experienced and capable guide who will, literally, open Egypt up to you. I am so, so very grateful I said yes to this trip.
