Going on retreat offers an opportunity to let down the stresses of life, to be nourished by the north woods, and deepen your yoga, meditation, and pranayama practices. You will learn Ayurvedic self-care rituals as well as lifestyle and practice recommendations to align harmoniously with the season, so your health and well-being may flourish. You will experience a Guided Deepening session which is a framework to support access to greater well-being.
The Christine Center, 3 hours northwest from Madison, is nestled in the tranquil woods of northern Wisconsin on 125 acres, offering a nurturing and supportive environment for practice and connection. For 30 years, the retreat center has been open to all paths of faith and spirituality.
The Christine Center offers four kinds of modest accommodations, including both modern and rustic hermitages that are unique and simple, guest house rooms, cabin bedrooms, and tent camping spots. Both single, double, and triple occupancy are available.

REFUND POLICY Refunds up to two weeks prior to retreat will be honored minus any processing frees. No refunds available thereafter.
ACCOMMODATIONS
All hermitages have electricity.
Modern hermitages have gas or electric heat, a bathroom with shower and furnished kitchenette.
Rustic hermitages are simple yet comfortable, with gas or electric heat, no running water or bathroom.
Guest house rooms have private bathrooms, skylights, and in-floor radiant heating. A handicapped accessible room is available.
Cabin bedrooms are single private rooms within a home with a shared bathroom.
Several areas are set aside for camping.
For rustic hermitage guests and campers we offer a modern bathroom and shower facility at the Siloe building.
MEALS
The Christine Center emphasizes vegetarian seasonal meals. The food on their tables has a sense of inner spiritual nourishment in harmony. Their cooks bring unique creativity and style to preparing nurturing dishes with these ingredients.
Seven vegetarian meals are included. Coffee/tea and fruit are always available. Additional special dietary needs can be accommodated upon advance request.
To experience the practice of mindful eating and to enjoy an easeful entry into the start of the day, breakfast will be enjoyed in noble silence.
TRAVEL + ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Please plan to arrive at The Christine Center between 3:00-6:45 pm on Friday. A welcome dinner is served at 5:30 pm and the first class begins on at 7 pm. On Sunday class ends at 12:15 pm followed by a departure lunch at 12:30 pm. If you would like to also stay Sunday night, additional reservations can be made through the Christine Center to extend your stay if you wish.
The Christine Center is nestled on 125 acres of tranquil woodlands in north central Wisconsin, located at W8303 Mann Road in Willard. Traveling by car is about a 2.5-3 hour drive from Madison.

Participants must bring their own yoga mat and yoga block.
This is a substance-free retreat. A substance-free environment is one in which all guests agree to keep their space free from substances at all times. Substances are defined to include alcohol, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, other smoking materials, and illicit and illegal drugs.
