You need previous surf experience to take this class. 

• This is a 2 hour long class. 

• Our instructor to student ratio is 2 on 1. 

• Before entering the water our instructors will assess your technique and your previous knowledge. This will be followed by a quick land practice and explanation of the objective for the day which will be tailored to meet each participant's needs. 

  
  

• Some of the things that you will learn in this class:

• Passing the breaking waves and getting to the line-up

• Positioning on the line-up

• Proper technique to turtle turn or duck dive (depending on your skills)

• Paddling technique

• Timing (when to start paddling for a wave and when to stand up)

• Positioning on the board (and proper stands for creating speed)

• Turning (how to ride the wave sideways) 

• Basic bottom turns

• Trimming and Carving turns

• Surfing etiquette

• Manoeuvres

  All lessons schedules are set according to the tides which change everyday. Please contact us to request the time of the lesson after your booking.
