Excellent beginner surf lesson for my family of four. The instructors really knew their stuff and gave excellent, individualized instruction. As a result, we were all able to get up and surf. We had so much fun and felt safe the entire time due to the great team at Dominical Surf School.

Had an amazing time learning how to surf with Franklin and Santiago, two of the surf schools experienced surfers. We went to dominical and dominicalito beach and the waves were amazing especially for green season. Would recommend this school 100x over and will definitely be back

I’ve brought multiple groups of 20–30 people to Dominical Surf School, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Taking a large group surfing could easily feel overwhelming, but Debbie and the entire team make the experience incredibly safe, organized, and fun from start to finish. Their instructors are patient, encouraging, and know exactly how to work with complete beginners. It’s amazing to watch participant after participant stand up on their board—by the end of the lesson, just about everyone is riding waves with a huge smile on their face. As someone who leads youth adventure trips, safety is my top priority, and I have complete confidence bringing my groups here. The staff communicates well, keeps everyone engaged, and creates an experience that our participants talk about long after the trip is over. We had a amazing experience! They welcomed us with warmth, adjusted the lesson to our level and showed clear knowledge of both ocean currents and different waves. They were efficient so that we got a lot out of our time, but were also calm and laidback in their energy. We felt safe, learned so much, and had lots of fun! We would definitely come back here!

The four day surf class was perfect for our two boys (10 and 7). They started at zero, and were up on the board by the end of it. Mario was great!
