Delve into the tropical treasure of Southern Thailand, with a rich and spacious approach to study, practice and cultural exchange. This portion of the journey is a truly unique opportunity to experience the raw natural beauty of a remote landscape and embrace the inspiration of a simple existence.

  • Explore and revel in tranquil mountain lakes, wild remote jungles, sleepy rural villages, and pristine velvet beaches.
  • Enjoy a delicious family-style Thai dinner and group orientation in Kuraburi, a bustling little town near the Andaman Coast.
  • Cruise aboard a long-tail boat to the virtually untouched island of Ko Phra Thong to land on a the private beach that will be the backdrop for 5 days of study and practice.
  • Engage in a daily yoga practice, with emphasis on personal adaptation and flow.
  • Complete 60 hours of Thai Yoga Massage training in seated and side-lying positions, with a focus on treatment integration.
  • Camp on the Surin Islands, with world class snorkeling, and spend a day in a Moken village to experience their ocean based way of life.
  • Settle in to the incredibly special opportunity to stay at the homes of local families in Baan Thalay Nok, learning batik, harvesting cashews, fishing by traditional means and preparing truly authentic Thai cuisine.
  • Travel by boat to a floating bamboo village on a remote lake in Khao Sok National Park.
  • Trek in the surrounding jungle and kayak around the lake between thai massage and yoga sessions, while taking a true break from the outside world.

Itinerary

Day 1
Orientation

Transfer by van from the Surat Thani Airport to the quant town of Kuraburi in Phang

Nga Province. Walk the evening market with your translator and enjoy tasting the

fresh fruit and treats from the locals. Then have a Southern Thai meal at a local

restaurant, your translator will brief you on your planned cultural and homestay

activities so that you can enter the local villages in a respectful manner.
