I had a brilliant time on this trip, my first geology holiday! Apart from being immensely knowledgeable and engaging on all things geological Angus also created a truly welcoming atmosphere in our accommodation. The trips and house we stayed in were great and the other people on the course were lovely. I went home happy, relaxed and inspired! Thank you Angus and good wishes to all Lisa : )

Excellent holiday! The whole trip was very well organised and led by Angus. The accommodation and food were of a very high quality. Walking and geology wise I had a great time. I learned a lot about the volcanic rocks in the area, and very much enjoyed the challenge of walking over rough terrain to visit different parts of the island. It was a memorable trip.

Another brilliant trip - Angus has so much knowledge of the geology and walking in this beautiful landscape - I really couldn’t say which I enjoyed the most! Everything is so well organised and all our needs catered for, from ferries to food plus all those little extras like biscuits and cakes in his mobile mountain cafe! A big plus are the fabulous folks you also meet… and they like to talk about rocks too! Couldn’t recommend the trip (and Geowalks) more highly… my bag may still be packed… where to next I say? 😉😀
