MAXIMUM IMPACT TRAVEL was created to foster international and domestic travel experiences. Founded by entrepreneur, playwright, author and philanthropist: Jay Cameron. Realizing that most of his life had been consumed by working domestically, a trip to Ghana changed his perspective. His experience transformed the way he saw traveling. As a result, he set out to encourage others to see the world through their own eyes, not only through the eyes of the media. You are invited to join Jay and his team on their adventures around the globe!

It was a wonderful adventure. The guides were exceptional with knowledge of ancient Egypt and with the security of our group. The trip was well organized throughout. I never felt lost or alone. The itinerary was packed and well planned. The Queenology talk was an added bonus. Overall an unforgettable experience.

Wow, wow, WOW!!!! What an amazing, over the top, beyond all expectations experience this was!! Where to even begin?! Well, Jay and his team are absolute superstars for one, they had everything so well organized, that I felt completely taken care of from start to finish with zero stress! R.C. and Lisa are so genuine, so real and true, what an adorable sweet family! I met awesome people from all over the States that are so kind, I hope to travel with them again in the future! Egypt was a BIG deal for me, as my father's ancestral line comes from the Mediterranean, North Africa and Egypt. This was a chance to feel those roots, my first time ever setting foot on the African continent and I knew my father's spirit was with me watching from Heaven. I felt so welcomed, so at home, more than anywhere I'd ever traveled before and I've been to a few places! The emphasis on culture, spirituality, the Nubian village experience, I doubt any regular tour could offer that. Our guide Prince was outstanding and has a great heart and spirit! Meshi-meshi, yallah! Haha!! The Egyptians are wonderful, beautiful, and a pleasure to meet. It meant the world to me to spend my birthday in that ancient land, the connection you feel is real! I trust Maximum Impact 1000% and can't wait to go on another adventure with them! It was truly life changing and transformative in so many positive ways, I came back a better, stronger, more confident version of myself. Thank you to everyone involved, Jay and Prince, RC and Lisa and family, all the team and all the lovely people that came along! This was a lifelong dream of mine finally come true. There really are no words that can express how deeply this experience has touched my soul. The sounds, sights, people, and beauty of that land will remain with me forever. It was meant to be, the right place at the right time with the right people. Just in time! God always has a plan!! My faith is renewed, roots are strengthened, and I am forever grateful. Thank you everyone, from the very bottom of my heart. Love to you all and God Bless 🙏 ❤ Elizabeth M.

This journey started in 2017 when We we visited the lynching memorial in Montgomery Alabama. In front of the memorial is a sculpture of enslaved Africans in chains. Seeing this sculpture was surreal, ive never seen anything regarding slavery look so real. That night i found a video about the Doors of No Return. That started the planning to visit the continent of Africa. Not being familiar with the many African countries we had to pick one, after seeing the first video from Maximum Impact, and being from the DMV, we were sold. Jay answered all our question, and addressed our concerns. When we landed in Ghana, we were at ease the moments we saw the Maximum Impact sign and Morris. I was very familiar with Morris from the videos, we immediately hit it off. We felt welcomed by everyone. We were home. The Maximum Impact team was on point, from accommodations, scheduling, attractions, history, food, transportation and photography; all we can say is EXCELLENT. We are so glad to have this experience we will never forget and we will be back very soon with more of our family members. Thank you so much for all y'all do🤗

I had an amazing time! The accommodations were high quality and the food was plentiful and accommodated all types of diets such as vegan. I will be traveling with Maximum Impact on the Ghana trip with RC and Lisa Blakes next year, if there's slots opened.

I had the absolute privilege of joining the Gateway Experience Ghana, July 2022. There's only one word to describe it - TRANSFORMATIVE. Jay has done the work and created a truly phenomenal travel experience. Because of his efforts, I connected with the ancestors, with Ghanaians, with Africans and with myself. I fell in love with Ghana and am now planning to move there. Jay and his local team - the incomparable Morris and the loyal Ernest - took care of every detail and provided a trip that was informative, enjoyable and safe. I don't think I could have that experience with any other tour operator. From now on, I will only travel with Jay and Maximum Impact when I visit any place in Africa. In fact, my group and I are planning to travel together again to Tanzania next year. It's just that deep. If you love Black people and Blackness, then love yourself by booking a trip with Maximum Impact!

Customer service exceptional! What a pleasure to work with Maximum Impact Travel for this trip. They are thorough and very attentive as there are several steps to traveling to Ghana; the entire Maximum Impact team made the booking process seamless with EASY-to-follow instructions. All questions I had were answered promptly and professionally. And, oh my goodness, once you get to Ghana, you will be warmly received by the Maximum Impact team and treated like a V.I.P. Accommodations are clean and super-comfortable and offer all amenities. Don’t hesitate booking the trip if you’re traveling solo as I was. It’s a trip of a lifetime where you will meet wonderful traveling companions, tour the country with knowledgeable guides and wish that the trip was longer. I LOVED IT! A powerful and stirring cultural tour that also includes fun-loving activities. Outstanding job by Maximum Impact. I’m already planning my next tour with you.
