My family of 4 (myself, my wife, and our 2 children age 6 and 8) will be visiting Luang Prabang from 18-Jun-2023 to 21-Jun-2023. So we will have 2 full days for tours in Luang Prabang.
I am looking to visit Pak Ou Caves and Kuang Si Waterfalls on on day, and do the Full Day Luang Prabang World Heritage City Tour on the other day.

- we went for cycling in the morning and the unpaved road we were supposed to ride on the way back was under huge work! So we have to go back by the road which was not very fun
- not sure whisky village is of interest…

It was a fantastic experience! Would always do it again! On time, very well organized as well as good food on the way. Really enjoyed it trip! 

It was really nice!! The accommodation is great, very quiet and with an amazing view! 
My guide was very helpful, I learned so many things about elefants and about Manifa conservation programm.  I really loved this overnight stay. I definitely recommend it!!

[Karen] 2 Days Luang Prabang tour 10 people

We had three different guides to three different activities.  All three guides were great!  
Thin, our city guide, was very informative and provided us with a beautiful experience in the temples, the national museum and the walk up the hill for vistas.  He also provided a great trip up the river to the elephant farm and to the caves.

Tau, our feeding the monks and morning market guide, provided us with the proper ways to show respect and understanding of a monk's life.  We had a great time in the morning market looking at all of the different fresh veggies, the fresh fish and the unusual (think wasp's larva).  We tried coconut pancakes that were delicious.  

Our third guide provided us with a trip to the waterfall and to the water buffalo ice cream shop.  We had a great all day experience with him.

We actually had two more days planned with this company but opted to forgo them so that we could walk around the beautiful city and enjoy the night market.

We can highly recommend this company for a great all around experience in Luang Prabang.

I really enjoyed two days trip in Luang Prabang. Small issue occurred due to mishandling by the company, but they sincerely dealt with it. Friendly stuff, unexpectedly punctual transportation, good food for lunch and so on, everything was above my expectation. I'll defenetly join the tour again, when I have a chance.

この2日間はとても楽しく過ごせました。
ボート移動ではまさかのエンジントラブルでしたが、迅速な対応、そして各国のお客様の協力、また違った経験ができました。
象使いは象の背中に乗る初めての経験と川に入って行くスリリングな体験ができてとても楽しかったです。ランチもとても美味しくいただきました。
クアンシーの滝はとても美しく感動しました。泳ぎたかったですが、着替えるところが無いのが辛かった。
市内観光もとても解りやすい説明で、良かった。

今回のツアーで他国のお客様と話せて楽しい経験でした。

そして何より、ガイドさんが最高でした。このツアーは是非参加すべきツアーだと思います。

It was best schedule for half day trip! I had very relaxed cruising ,amazing view and very nice meal!

[EUR] H01-1 Slow boat trip to pak ou caves, local village

Much better than going with a minibus. But don’t buy anything in the whisky village. The prices are 5 times of Luang Prabang Night Market, and even that is too high. Better skip whisky village, it’s not worth the time.

We had a wonderful and enriching experience with this 3 day trek outside of Luang Prabang.  Our guide, Vone, was a knowledgeable guide who gave us many cultural insights about the villages.   Vone also taught us about the various types of plants and vegetation.  We stayed in a homestay in an authentic Khmu village.  The 2nd day we visited the elephant camp and learned about the care of elephants. We visited a village school and interacted with the energetic children.   The trek would be suitable for those who are mobile and physically fit.  We were a group of 11 friends and we all thought highly of the experience.  It was a wonderful start to our trip in Laos.

象がいる村まで大きいボートで約２時間かかりましたが、メコン川クルーズも兼ねており、形式も素晴らしくあっという間の時間でした。
象とのスキンシップも楽しく、象使いになるためのトレッキングもとても楽しかったです。川遊びもありますが、象に水をかけられるのでずぶぬれになります。ランチはブッフェで、ビールなどのアルコール飲み放題もとても良いサービスで良かったです。貴重な体験ができました。

[EUR] H03 Elephant Mahout Training half day (with pick-up and drop-off

Each destination was perfect, the falls are beautiful and you have the possibility to swim. The elephant camp is wonderful with the friendliest of staff and a great lunch. The sunset cruise is a perfect end to the day. 
Guides and drivers are friendly and professional. So overall, you will be well taken care of with these tour organizers. 
The description of the tour, however, does not match the reality. The elephant camp and the falls are far from each other, and the road is long and bumpy. I don't so well on long twisty-turny drives, so I wasn't happy to see that our tour was not the one we booked.
It clearly says in the description that the tour starts at the top of the falls with the elephants -no. It doesn't mention the 2 hours by car. So this is why I put 4 stars. The two sites are absolutely worthwhile, but it would be better to take elephant camp and Pak Ouv caves one day and waterfalls on another.

Everything we asked for & more. Our guide, Tin, made this trip unforgettable, with his knowledge, excellent English, gentle insight, professionalism & attentiveness. Always caring, considerate and "going the extra mile", and we were away for 7 days, so huge thanks to him. Thanks also to our lovely drivers, who were good humoured, engaged and we always felt safe on some very tricky, difficult roads with them.
Having visited Laos before, we knew what we wanted to do and see during this visit and that these places were not possible in a big group or by day trip from Luang Prabang. I dealt with Manifa travel directly from Uk, telling them where we wanted to visit and they managed all our requests promptly and created a great personal itinerary for us. Made it smooth, organised and truly unforgettable. No hesitation in recommending Manifa travel and their guide Tin.

This trip was one adventure after another. Mr. Pong was our guide and was entertaining, helpful and very knowledgeable. He added so much more to an otherwise excellent tour. We were able to see so many things, never felt rushed and ended the day in the most relaxing way as we watched the sunset on a slow boat on the Mekong. This trip should not be missed.

The staff kindly came to pick us up at the airport earlier than scheduled, which made us feel safe and at ease right from the start.

The elephant experience was unforgettable—the elephants were so adorable 🐘💖. On top of that, the staff were all incredibly friendly, kind, and warm, which made us feel very welcome.

They even surprised our friends by celebrating their birthdays with individual whole cakes for each person 🎂✨ It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay truly special.

Everything was perfect, and we already feel like we want to come back again someday.

Riding an elephant was absolutely incredible! It felt surreal to be so close to such a majestic animal, and the handlers were very caring and respectful toward the elephants. The entire experience was well-organized and safe, making it enjoyable and memorable.
The Mekong River cruise was equally amazing. The scenery along the river was breathtaking, with lush greenery and peaceful waters creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. We also had the chance to see local life along the riverbanks, which added a cultural touch to the trip. The boat was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
Overall, both experiences were beyond my expectations. If you’re looking for a mix of adventure and tranquility, I highly recommend trying both the elephant ride and the Mekong River cruise. It’s something you’ll remember forever!

Fantastico, tour curato nei minimi dettagli. Pick up in hotel, visita delle cascate e del villaggio Hmong di mattina. Pranzo e bevande inclusi all’interno di un elephant camp e crosciera sul Mekong con visita alle Pak Ou Cave e dimostrazione di come viene prodotto vino e whisky di riso con assaggio.
Tutto bellissimo.

ガイドさんには、わかりやすく、丁寧に対応してもらえて、嬉しかったし、不安な思いをせずにすんだ。
象使いの人たちも、気づかいのできる人たちで、ありがたかったです。
午前と午後でメンバーもガイドも変わるということでしたが、午後もおかげさまで楽しめました。ありがとうございました。

ゾウに乗るだけではなく、餌やりの体験やゾウの身体測定の様子などを見ることもできました。
メコン川の水浴びでは首のあたりまで濡れることが必至なので、替えの下着や水着を持参方が良いです。
日本語ツアーを選んだ場合、ガイドの方の日本語は流暢で、質問にもすぐに答えてくれます。(ガイドのカンさん、ありがとう！)
ルアンパバーンに来たらぜひおすすめしたい体験です！

I experienced riding elephants, feeding them, and watching the staff measure the elephants’ height and weight.
I recommend bringing an extra set of underwear or swimwear, as you will get wet after entering the Mekong River.
This was a wonderful experience in Luang Prabang!

We had a great time. The food was delicious. They were very respectfull to the elephants. Our bungalow was great.  

Fantastic experience to see the elephants in their natural habitat! Very nice walk through the forest and river and ending with a plunge in the Mekhong river! Good background info from the guides about the elephants living conditions and poaching still going on. 
Excellent lunch to finish this lovely half day! 

I had a great time on the full day city tour with the tour guide Kone.  He showed up on time and we were able to travel to many parts of the city and see the various temples, enjoy a great lunch, see the paper village, etc… Kone was very easy to understand and provided so much insight on the country as he was raised here.  You will have a great time and can move at your own pace. I highly recommend.

F26 Private Full Day Luang Prabang city tour

Had a great time. My guide Vone was enthousiastic and had a lot of knowledge about the villages, its inhabitants and the forest! Lunch was provided by a local family at a lovely spot overlooking the water. 

[EUR] F11 HIKE TREK TO KUANG SI WATERFALL

Would not recommend the city is small and all the sites are easily to get to on foot. The advantage of a guide is to show you the spots you might miss facts you might not know etc. unfortunately my guide just repeatedly shouted the same information at me including the fact that it was rainy season and tourists were very important. Overall a very uncomfortable experience and I left the tour early and continued by myself overall much more pleasant and managed to clear my headache from being shouted at.

帰国して数日経ちますが、今回のルアンパバーンの滞在で一番楽しかったのが象使い体験でした。器具を何もつけずに象さんと一緒に散歩したりメコン川に入ったり、貴重な体験でした。ランチのビュッフェも美味しかったです。日本語ガイドの方（お名前を忘れてしまいました。ごめんなさい）もラオスの歴史をしっかりとお話ししてくださり、知らないことが多くて勉強になりました。ツアー参加者の方とも直ぐ仲良くなり、ナイトマーケットや空港でばったり会ったり、、、、一生の良い思い出です。ありがとうございました。

I was a solo traveller, well looked after. Very good communication. I did half day kayak and wished now that I did the falls too. Vone was great in instructions, very informative.
Food was really good. Had great one but missed the falls

1点だけ、象使い半日コースと1日コースでは異なる体験ができると思っていましたが、同じコースを2周歩くだけであったのが少しだけ残念でした。

Beautiful experience! We believe that the elephants are taken good care for. So nice staff and beautiful surroundings 

The trip was planned and organized well.  Tour guide (Mr. Phong) was excellent and very knowledgeable.  Made the trip enjoyable.  The pace of the tour was good with time to relax and enjoy the different stops.  The Kuang Si Falls and Mekong cruise were both very good.  Scenery at both was  quite beautiful.  Lunch had a very good selection of food.  The Pak Ou Caves were disappointing and not worth the effort to climb to the upper cave.

The tour was one of the best one that we had so far. The staff was amazing, welcomed us with open hearts. The tour deserve more than 5 stars. 

We just want to say thank you once again for every single moment.

ホテルまでピックアップしに来てくれて、メコン川をクルーズしながら、途中ウイスキー村に立ち寄り、目的地まで行った。ホテルが変更になったけど、連絡したらすぐに返信してくれて安心できた。初めて像に乗ったけど、スリルがあってとても楽しかった。初めは怖かったけど、最後は像ととても仲良くできて本当に楽しかった。メコン川での像との水浴びは他では体験できないであろう。また、服もタオルも貸し出ししてくれるのがとてもありがたい。像に乗り終えたら、ランチビュッフェと飲み放題！ゆっくり同じツアーの人と話しながら食べのみする時間も最高だった。一人の参加だったが、同じツアーの人、ガイドさんたちが良くしてくれて十分楽しむことができた。像乗りの時にたくさん写真や動画も取ってもらえます。とてもいい思い出！！最後にオフィスで証明書も頂けてうれしかった。ガイドさんの日本語もとても上手で安心できます。すでに像に会いたい！またツアーに参加させていただきます。貴重な体験をありがとうございました。

Επιλέξαμε το συγκεκριμένο γραφείο γιατί την προηγούμενη μέρα είχαμε πάει μαζί τους στους καταρράκτες και στο χωριό χμογκ. Απίθανη εκδρομή. Οι συνοδοί μας πολύ εξυπηρετικοί. Ένας από αυτούς μάλιστα μας τραβούσε με το κινητό μου συνέχεια βίντεο και φωτογραφίες. στις δραστηριότητες με τους ελέφαντες. Η βόλτα στο δάσος τέλεια.Το φαγητό σε μπουφέ ποιοτικό και νόστιμο. 

One of my most beautiful lived experiences! An enchanting place where elephants live in harmony with the staff who treat them very well and lovingly. My partner and I spent the day with the elephants and it was exciting, then we visited the caves by kayaking with kohan, our kayak guide, who was really fun and knowledgeable, he showed us wonderful places along Mekong River. We spent the night at the Manifa camp and it is a paradise, equipped with every comfort, delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner....we felt really like home, especially thanks to Cit, the guy who looked after us during the entire stay. Too bad we only spent 1 night. In the evening we went on a sunset cruise to return at Luang Prabang center,the perfect conclusion to this unforgettable experience.

2-Day Manifa Elephant Camp Cottage Stay + 1-day tour

Βρήκα το γραφείο διαδικτυακά. Μας πηραν απ το ξενοδοχείο και πηγαμε στο χωριό των Hmog Ηταν πολύ ωραία. Μετά στους καταρράκτες. Πολύ εξυπηρετικός ξεναγός. Την επόμενη μέρα πηραμε εκδρομή με το ίδιο γραφείο για ελέφαντες. Που ήταν φανταστική. 

Half Day Kuang Si Waterfalls & Hmong village (H04)

Everything about the tour was very satisfying. Hotel pick-up and drop-off. Interacting with the elephants at the camp and lunch. And time at Kuang Si Falls. There are many different types of tours, so it's nice to be able to choose the activity that suits you. I had a relaxing and good time. Thank you 😊

It was defenetly the best experience in Laos. Amaizing place with the elephatns. Only five river side lovely cottages in the middle of the garden. Peaceful and beautyful. Everyday we had Mahout with elephants. We can walk, ride, bath or feed them. The staff love animals and take care of guests all the time. Additionaly included in the finale price we had 3 highlight tours. Breakfast, buffet lunch and diner was very good also drinks everything what you need. You can’t miss this place is only 20 km away from Luang Prabang. The best idea is to take one or two nights there to chill out. Highly recommend.

Wonderful time kayaking on two rivers, visiting the Pak Ou caves, and the Kuang Si waterfalls. Lunch included. The guide was great. We also stopped in a village that specializes in local brandies and whiskeys to sample.

Private F22 Full-Day Glimpse Elephant Mahout Experience, Kuang si fall

This was a fantastic tour, all the guides were so fantastic and accommodating, especially Kone who prioritized our safety during our cycling tour, and then accommodated my preference to kayak, despite being the sole participant. Kone was thoughtful, attentive and made us feel so welcomed!

M05-joint 2 Days the most epic places and experiences in Luang Prabang

滝と象に乗れたのですごく良かったです。ただ、1日一緒に回ってくれた英語ガイドの方が話が長く、聞くのに疲れてしまいました。夫とのせっかくの旅行だったので滝は2人で回りたかったのですがそこにもついてきました。
永遠にカタコトの英語で話されたのが残念でした。その後会った日本語を話せるガイドや象に一緒に乗ってくれた人はとてもあたたかく良い人でした
