It had been 20 years since I last did a trek. My previous experience was hiking in Portugal, Switzerland, Thailand, Cambodia, Bolivia, Peru and the Inca trail. This time I wanted to set myself a physical challenge and climb to Annapurna base camp. By accident I found Alpine Luxury trekking on the internet. As a solo traveller the personalized service and the attention to detail were very important to me and Alpine Luxury trekking did deliver more than I could have hoped for. Nepal offers stunning nature but not without risks. Therefore, I wanted an experienced guide and porter. The fantastic guide and porter team of Gobinda and Keshavi were assigned to me. How lucky I was to have such extremely experienced, caring and genuinely nice people looking after me. Thank you so much. There is an idea for me to do the Langtang trek next year but I would only want to tackle it with the dream team of Gobinda and Keshavi as it gives that extra special demention which makes it a truly unique experience. One of the best excursions in my life! I always wanted to see the huge mountains of the Himalaya. Unfortunately, depending on my health and on my work, I cannot go on a walk for 2 or 3 weeks. So the only option was the helicopter. What I wanted was a helicopter trip with a stop at Kalapatar (the mountain opposite Mount Everest) and a stop for breakfast at the Mountain View Hotel (which other companies also do) and a small walk. I tried a couple of tour operators and got these messages: - "At this time we can´t" - "We cannot accommodate you at all" - "Landing at Kala Patthar ist not possible" - "Your weight is 130 kg - forget about that...." Then I came to this Tour operator: said, everything ist possible, gave me a date for the upcoming trip. They picked me up from the hotel and brought me back. Everything was coordinated 100% (Yes, really, 100 %) So I cannot say that there was a moment that I did not like. If you want a professional tour operator - go there, I only can recommend it.

We were very fortunate to identify Alpine Luxury Treks, for our trip to Nepal. We had a best experience ever in our life. The trip planned with Badri was beyond our expectations. From the 1st contact with Badri , he worked with us on our dreams . His meticulous planning with dedication is beyond words. We had a great time during the entire trip. Mr. Badri of Alpine Travels was very cooperative from day one and made our trip smooth. The driver of the vehicle who was with us for 5 days was also very good. The vehicle allotted to us was also new and in very good condition.
