Discover the ancient legacy of Baja through a journey into its breathtaking cave paintings. These excursions and expeditions take you deep into remote desert landscapes, where you’ll witness rock art created thousands of years ago by the region’s earliest inhabitants.
Guided by local experts, this experience combines adventure, history, and cultural connection, offering a rare glimpse into one of the most extraordinary archaeological treasures of the peninsula.
September 15 to June 30
This expedition is physically demanding and requires good overall fitness. Participants should be in optimal health, with no medical conditions that could be aggravated by prolonged physical activity, hiking on uneven terrain, or exposure to extreme weather.
Unlike other routes, this excursion does not require horseback riding, although a mule can be rented upon request. The journey involves a 1.5-hour hike along ranching trails, with the final 150 meters being particularly challenging due to the steep incline and terrain conditions.
We recommend prior experience with endurance activities (such as long hikes or horseback riding) and advise consulting your doctor before participating, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
This adventure is designed for individuals accustomed to regular physical activity and willing to embrace the rustic and challenging conditions of the environment.
