Great staff! They are knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. Everything was clean. Food was delicious. Went out of their way to highlight all the Lagoon's loveliness and nature. Saw whales! Saw birds! Saw dolphins and turtles! So much fun. Well structured and are environment. Perfect for families looking for adventure and eco-adventure.

We were out in the whale watching boat for an hour without seeing any whales that our guide told us that the last count was a total of 12 whales in the bay. This included only 1 mother and 1 calf. It would have been nice if they had informed us of this before we went. Also it would have been nice to have gotten a discount coupon or code for next year. I paid extra for a nature guide and the whole boat had the one guide. Did they all also pay for a guide? It wasn't clear and I don't think I should have spent the extra money. Very disappointed. Of course, I know there are no guarantees that you will see a whale, but the odds diminish significantly if there are only at last count a total of 12 whales in the entire bay.

We had the best time! Excellent food. Responsible, friendly, informative staff. Beautiful location. Wonderful accommodations! I never knew I could get such a great shower out of five gallons of water! Such a unique, once-in-a-lifetime trip! I will highly recommend it to all of my friends!

What an amazing experience. I surprised my parents with a single session tour with Kuyima. We traveled from Loreto and I was so hopeful that we would get lucky and see lots of whales, especially since we only had one chance on the water. I also had realistic expectations since they're of course wild animals and can do what they want lol. We ended up seeing probably 30-40 whales total between spouts in the distance to very very close encounters. Several whales came right up to our boat to check us out and we had the opportunity to pet them! It was absolutely incredible and so special and also so well-managed- at no point did I feel like we were bothering the whales or forcing interactions. Would absolutely go back to San Ignacio just to experience this again!
