In order to guarantee an organized and high-quality experience for our guests, at Kuyimá we have established the following reservation and cancellation policies for our cabin package.

The package includes:

● 1 Gray whale watching tour.

● 3 Meals

● 1 Night of lodging in a cabin, shared with another client (if you do not wish to share, a supplement for exclusive single occupancy will be charged).

● 1 Additional activity at the camp.

● Naturalist guide service

RESERVATIONS

Since we operate within a Protected Natural Area, visit dates are subject to periods officially authorized by the competent authority.

Reservations can be made up to 2 years in advance.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice, except for reservations already confirmed with a deposit.

The service is offered on pre-established dates. We suggest checking the official calendar on our website or requesting it directly before making your reservation.

Validity period of this package only on available selected dates.

Maximum capacity: 20 people in double occupancy.

Prices:

● Double occupancy: $9,647 MXN per person.

Reservation confirmation:

For those who make their reservation with sufficient anticipation, Kuyimá offers the option to hold your date for up to 3 months without immediate payment. However, no later than during the month of September of the year prior to your visit, an advance payment of $1,925 MXN per person must be made via deposit or bank transfer to definitively confirm your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable. If another client shows interest in reserving the same date, the client who made the advance reservation without immediate payment will have the priority as first option. Nevertheless, priority will be given to those clients willing to make an advance payment.

Balance payment option:

● Final payment: remaining balance, at least 15 days before your arrival.

If the client fails to make the payments within the established deadlines, Kuyimá reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refund obligation and release the space for other interested parties. This measure applies especially if the pending balance has not been covered at least 15 days before the start of the service. Likewise, if it is not possible to establish contact with the client through the provided means (phone, email, or any other official channel), and after multiple attempts within a reasonable period, it will be understood that the client has withdrawn from their reservation, and it will be canceled under the same terms. In these cases, previous payments will not be refundable, unless Kuyimá determines that there were justified and documented reasons on the client's part. This determination will be at the sole discretion of the administration.

After confirming the reservation, a form with personal data and a liability release letter will be sent.

It is recommended to purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen events (illness, natural disasters, pandemics, or personal decisions).

Payment methods: bank transfer, deposit, credit or debit card. Reservation and payment can also be made directly through the secure payment gateway available on our official website. Checks from foreign accounts are not accepted.

CANCELLATIONS

Kuyimá reserves the right to modify or suspend the service due to force majeure (extreme weather, health regulations, or other factors beyond our control).

In case of extraordinary events beyond the client’s and Kuyimá’s control, such as health emergencies, pandemics, natural disasters, road blockades, or other situations outside the control of both parties:

● The rescheduling of the service to a new date within the same or the next year will be offered, subject to availability and current rates. If the rescheduling is to a later season, the client must pay the corresponding difference if there are adjustments in the current rates.

● If the client cannot reschedule their visit, a credit valid for up to one year under the reservation holder's name may be issued for use on another date.

● Only if it is not possible to reschedule or use the credit, a partial refund of up to 80% will be considered, taking into account services not rendered and administrative expenses incurred.

If the service is suspended due to weather causes while already on-site, the options are:

● Reschedule the visit for the same or next year, based on availability and current rates.

● If not rescheduled, 80% of the amount corresponding to services not provided will be refunded.

Reschedulings: valid for up to one year, subject to availability.

No show:
Failure to show up on the scheduled date results in total loss of the amount paid.

Cancellation due to personal reasons within less than 7 days before arrival.

Voluntary cancellations:

● More than 60 days before the arrival date: Payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit, may be refunded.

● Less than 60 days before the arrival date: No refunds will be made.

All cancellation requests must be sent in writing via email and will only be processed during business hours.

The written cancellation request must be sent to the following email address: info@kuyima.com.

Reduction in the number of people in a reservation is considered a partial cancellation, and the same criteria apply.

All refunds will be processed within a maximum of 30 business days after approval.

Kuyimá reserves the right to modify the conditions and requirements of this policy based on internal decisions or the season, informing it duly through our official channels.
