The Uros, Taquile, and Amantani Islands Tour is a 2-day adventure in Puno. On the first day, we'll visit the Uros Islands and learn about the way of life of one of the oldest cultures on the continent. Then, continuing the tour, we'll have lunch with a family on the next island we'll visit.

Amantaní Island is one of the largest islands in Lake Titicaca. You'll spend the first night there, and on the last day, after an early breakfast, we'll continue exploring the island. You'll be able to see the ancient agricultural terraces, the Pachatata ceremonial center, and other attractions.

We'll begin the Uros, Taquile, and Amantani Islands Tour with a 7:30 a.m. pick-up from your hotel. We'll then head to the port where the boats depart for the famous floating islands of the Uros. Once on the floating islands, our guide will explain the fascinating history of the islands and the local culture.

We'll continue our journey for approximately three hours to Amantani Island. Here, a member of a local family will be waiting to take us to their home for lunch.

In the afternoon, you can hike to the top of the island to watch the beautiful sunset over Lake Titicaca.

The day begins with a traditional breakfast prepared by the family. Afterward, we'll say our goodbyes and continue our journey to Taquile Island (a 1-hour boat ride). Along the way, we'll enjoy beautiful scenery surrounding Lake Titicaca.

We'll continue our hike to the top of the island, where we'll have the opportunity to visit the local artisan markets and see the different chullos (traditional Andean hats) made by the island's men.

Before leaving the island, we'll have lunch featuring a typical dish while taking in a spectacular view of the lake.

After descending the 538 stone steps, we'll board our boat back to the city of Puno.
