Photographer Randy Wilson will guide you through the isolated and minimalistic Lamar Valley in Yellowstone. Winter is an incredible time for wildlife in the park and is home to wolves, bison, moose, elk, fox, coyote and more! Includes lodging in Gardiner, transportation throughout Lamar Valley, round-trip transfer Bozeman Airport and adventure! 2026: 9 wolves, 3 coyote packs, 3 red fox, bison, elk, pronghorn, bighorn sheep and more!

Transfer to Gardiner, MT is from BZN. We strongly encourage you to arrive 1 day early to account for winter weather.

Private transportation is scheduled for 2:00pm to take you from BZN - Bozeman Airport (or the Holiday Inn Belgrade) to Gardiner, MT. If you miss the private transport, you will be required to taxi or drive to the hotel in Gardiner, MT.

You must be able to walk in the snow with your gear and carry your own equipment. You should be in general good health, and expect to walk on snowy and slick surfaces.

• 2:00pm group transport from Bozeman to Gardiner, MT

• 7:00pm Meet & Greet with Welcome Dinner

• We will explore and capture the wildlife of Lamar Valley. We depart early each morning for our best opportunity to photograph wildlife as they awaken for the winter days. Since days during the winter are short, we will stay out most of the days to photograph. We do plan for coffee breaks, restroom breaks and lunch breaks during the day

• Once we return for the evening to Gardiner, we like to dine as a group at local restaurants

• Transportation to BZN departs our lodging at 10am

• Return flights should be scheduled after 2:00pm
