Our Indulge Maldives Surf guides are highly experienced local Maldivian surf guides, based on the island of Thulusdhoo. With previous experience of having worked in 5 star Maldives surf resorts, Maldivian surf camps & personal surfing experience in countries such as Australia, Indonesia & India, we're proud of the fact that our Maldivian Surf Guides are the best most competent surf guides in The Maldives. ACCOMMODATION

1 x Ocean View Room with Sea View Balcony at Reef Edge Hotel  - Thulusdhoo Island.

Reef Edge have an in house a la carte lunch & dinner menu $6-$15pp + a number of cafes nearby, including our Indulge Thulusdhoo Cafe where Indulge Maldives guests receive 5% discount off all bills.

MEALS

Reef Edge has a wonderful a la carte menu from $8-12pp - pay as you go or at check out during your stay. We recommend this over the full board buffet add on ($30pp per meal).

ABOUT THULUSDHOO ISLAND

Thulusdhoo Island is located in North Malé Atoll, just 30 minutes via speedboat, north of Velana International Airport. Thulusdhoo is home to some of Maldives' very best surf breaks – ‘Cokes’ (right) & ‘Chickens’ (left). The lessons will be conducted daily at either Chickens surf break, Baby Chickens surf break, Ninjas, Sultans or Honkeys, depending on the daily surf conditions & experience of participants. Included are the cost of boat transfers to these surf spots. Your guide will be with you the entire time. Thulusdhoo has palm tree beaches, white sandy shores and is ideal for snorkeling the house reef. Thulusdhoo is also close to a number of 4 and 5 star resorts, sandbank islands and has two beautiful Bikini Beaches. You can read our Thulusdhoo Island Guide here.

MALDIVES LEARN TO SURF ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Maldives day or night (before 10pm). We provide all instructions to take the speedboat to Thulusdhoo Island. Step foot onto the white sandy shores of Thulusdhoo, check into your ocean front Seaview room & settle into paradise after your long flight journey.

Day 2: Meet your surf guides Hishaam & Shimau! Set the time for your first surf lesson & discover Chickens / Baby Chickens / Ninjas surf breaks.

Day 3: Enjoy your second surf lesson.

Day 4: Enjoy your third surf lesson - this one will be a video / photographed session. Later in the evening, look through your images & videos with Hishaam & Shimau to refine your surfing technique, body positioning, timing & board awareness.

Day 5: Rest Day! Visit a beautiful sandbank island & do a little snorkelling! If you wish to do an extra surf lesson you totally can! (added-extra).

Day 6: Enjoy your fourth surf lesson - this one will be a video / photographed session. Later in the evening, look through your images & videos with Hishaam & Shimau to refine your surfing technique, body positioning, timing & board awareness.

Day 7: Enjoy your fifth & final surf lesson!

Day 8: Departure from Thulusdhoo Island. Reef Edge will assist you to the departing speedboat to Velana International Airport.
