INSURANCE
We are excited to have you as a valued traveler in the upcoming experience organized by Tourleb. To ensure your safety and well-being during your visit, we require all travelers to have adequate travel insurance coverage. This letter serves as a formal notification and a requirement for you to obtain suitable travel insurance before the start of the tour.
Travel insurance provides essential protection and coverage for unexpected events, including but not limited to trip cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, and lost or damaged belongings.
While we take every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable travel experience, some circumstances are beyond our control, and travel insurance can provide you with peace of mind and financial security in case of unforeseen incidents.
Thus, we ask you to share your emergency contact with us, and to provide proof of valid travel insurance coverage to our office no later than 24 hours prior to your arrival date or before you start your visits with Tourleb. Your insurance policy should cover the entire duration of the tour. In case you don’t have an insurance or don’t want to advise your insurer of your visit, please notify us as we can provide you with one at an extra cost. And in case this is not an option, please take note that costs of and from any and every incident, accident, injury or death, will be covered by you.
Please ensure that your insurer is aware of your itinerary and can agree to cover the activities being undertaken. Also, ensure that your travel insurance policy includes, at a minimum, the following coverage:
1. Emergency medical coverage, including evacuation and repatriation.
2. Trip cancellation and interruption coverage.
3. Coverage for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
4. Coverage for travel delays or missed connections.
You may upgrade your insurance to include other options.
You are responsible for understanding the terms and conditions of your chosen insurance policy, including any deductibles, coverage limits, and exclusions. It is your responsibility to verify that your insurance coverage meets the requirements outlined in this letter.
By participating in our trips, you acknowledge and accept that Tourleb and its staff are not responsible for any costs, liabilities, or expenses incurred due to events not covered by your travel insurance policy.

OFF-THE-BEATEN PATH VISITS AND CODE OF CONDUCT
In case you have requested an off-the-beaten track experience that includes visits to sensitive areas and / or borders, it is essential that you understand that even though TOURLEB will advise all relevant authorities and work on getting you necessary permits for the visits, these permits might be denied in which case the visit will be replaced by another program.
In case the permits are given and you are still questioned and/or arrested, Tourleb is in no way responsible and/or liable. It is a risk you are accepting to take. It is a rare case but CAN happen in some instances. If this should happen, Tourleb will do its utmost to help you clear things, and will gladly liaise with your emergency contact and your embassy/consulate. However, it is important to understand that if this should happen, Tourleb team is in absolutely no way responsible for you.
In case of a relapse due to a previous addiction (including but not limited to alcohol, drugs…) or decision of checking out of a hotel, an experience, disappearing without prior notice, or without paying your dues, we will send a bill to your emergency contact in order for all and any unpaid bills to be paid. Also please note that Tourleb and its staff members are in no way to be held responsible for any relapse on your part.
Please note that we have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to anyone yelling, talking down to, or harassing our team. If there is a problem on any given day, please feel free to contact Tourleb to discuss it in a civil manner. Should yelling or harassment happen, no matter the reason, the tours will be immediately suspended and no refund will take place. Additionally, you will be charged the full day if this should happen, as well as 50% of the price of the remaining experiences booked.
Please note that any request to spend the day alone for a program tailored by Tourleb is not receivable. You must be accompanied by a member of our team, a local or national guide or a story-teller during your visits, walks and experiences, specially and even more so in non-classical programs. Should anything happen during, before or after said visits, Tourleb will not be held responsible or liable.
Tourleb will charge you or your emergency contact any extra cost for (1) all and any work and distress caused by a relapse on your behalf, disappearance, refusal to cover your bills and/or answering your phone during your scheduled time of visit; (2) in case of any aggression, harassment (including but not limited to verbal, sexual, physical abuse), (3) or any injury sustained directly or indirectly because of you or your behavior towards any of our staff members.
